Great location, although it may be a bit noisy during evening time due to the bars near by. Room size is good for me, as a solo traveller, even with a huge luggage. And as I dive every day during my stay, balcony is a plus to drive and hang my equipments. And I’m happy with re mattress. There’s no fridge in the room - but I guess it’s the same in all hotels in that area.

Booked this Inn2 because I couldn’t see any commitments on Sipadan Inn 3 or 1. It was okay for overnight. The first time I stayed there, it was a normal small room with window facing the street. However, when I checked in again a week later I got a room in the middle without window, even though I booked the same queen room. The location is not great, Inn 3 and 1 are at better spots in the small seafront town, easier to reach than Inn 2. Among the three, Inn 3 is the newest and, after a visit, I noticed it has better rooms with better facilities. Had WiFi in room at Inn 2, the bed was very basic and sheets not crispy clean, the shower was okay as well as the air conditioning. Semporna is a tiny town with most places within walking distance, though the narrow, car-lined streets are not that clean or tidy to walk through, especially if you carry luggage. From what I heard from other travelers, very basic facilities wherever you stay, so lower your expectations then probably all good.

Booked through Agoda , roughly rm75++ per person per night which include breakfast, just no soundproof, we stayed at 3rd floor , can hear the band singing at night , and in the morning cat meow , loud music blasting . Breakfast selection ok , we joined the day trip tour by this hotel , rm263 per person for 2 days island hopping which is mabul & kapalai, the other day is bohey dulang , mantabuan island and sibuan island , the tour guides cum divers were helpful which was udin and nasim, the other day guide hutam was good 👍🏻 except one janggut guide was so into himself traveling and never really take care of us . So depends on which guide you have on your boat to take you around for day trip .. overall ok for 3 nights stay , got elevator , water bottle , travel shampoo

I didn’t really stay at this hotel but paid a visit when I was in town. The staff there were very friendly and showed me a couple of rooms as I requested. It is definitely in better condition than the Inn2 I stayed in. It is the newest among the three Sipadan Inns, at a better location, especially if you go to Mabul with Scuba Junkie, very close to their office and their jetty. Thought to let travelers know as I didn’t see any comment when booking hotels in Semporna. It is a tiny seafront town, everything close by but those narrow, car-lined streets are not that easy to walk through if you carry luggage on a hot day.

At first glance, I feel that the homestay is not very good, but after staying, it feels great, very warm, and very warm. It is a caring homestay with a clean and quiet environment. It's a perfect budget hotel. Location wise, excellent. Its smack in the center of everything:dives hops, restaurants, pharmacy, Gmart. Room wise, yes it's old, aircon takes time to cool the room. But toilet functions, the hot shower functions well. They also have a hair dryer. Towels, toothbrush, soap and shampoo provided. Wifi was fast. Bed was comfy. Perfect for fussfree divers who just need a place to sleep and rest 😊

The price of 626 is already very high in such a remote place, but who says this is a tourist destination? I came here with my children in the peak season of August. Advantages: ① This is a single-family villa with a beautiful environment. Walking and taking photos here during the day should also be very photogenic. If you want to rest for a day, this will be your best choice. But if you just want to sleep at night, I really think it is not necessary. ② The waiter can speak Chinese and there is no barrier to communication. When checking in, he will help take the luggage to the room. What's more valuable is that when checking out, he will help me send my luggage to the next hotel for free (I am not there during the day). Suggestions: In addition to the appearance, the interior can also be decorated warmly and stylishly, hoping to keep up with the modern times.

We spent one night at Luna Capsule before heading to Mabul island. In terms of rooms: Two of us went for the double room and the other two originally had booked the dorm. Upon arrival we noted the following things; - the dorm is near the reception and is a really small room. It's like a small room with on both sides bunk beds. Only plus I could mention is the fact that the bunk beds got a curtain each. Furthermore, the dorm is really close to the reception. If you want to have a decent night of sleep this is obviously not the best option. For this reason, the two persons we travelled with changed their booking to a double room. - the double rooms felt like hotel rooms: clean, decent bed, brand new ac, and a modern bathroom with rain shower. During the day, construction work was going on, making us believe that the top floor was recently renovated. The construction work did not commence extremely early and stopped before 6pm, meaning that you will not suffer from noise issues. What is good to know is that the double rooms are located on the top floor. The reception with the dorm is located on ground floor. The staircase to the top floor however does not start at the reception ground floor. Instead, you have to walk around the corner, pass a gate, go up, scan your room pass, and enter the top floor. In other words, to get from and to the reception, one has to go outside. In general this was fine. You however do not want to to this at night; Semporna really is not the richest, cleanest and therefore safest of places. In terms of the rest: - Reception staff is not overly accommodating or friendly. However, if you e.g. have a request to make use of their laptop to transfer photos from a SD card, they will not refuse. - Breakfast is a joke. Just go around the corner and have breakfast at a public space. - Location wise, Luna Capsule is located about 1km from the Semporna jetty. During the day you can walk this. As already mentioned before, Semporna is not the cleanest and does not feel like the safest place on earth. Therefore, during night time I would take a Grab back to the hotel. - Price of what you get is fine. It's not as cheap compared to the rest of Borneo, but this seems to hold for all the accommodations in Semporna. If you want to have a clean, modern and relatively safe place to sleep, e.g. for a few nights, Luna Capsule is fine. - If you want to have dinner at an OK place on walking distance (almost same block) from Luna Capsule, I would recommend Summer breeze cafe.

This hostel is located very strategic and all the restaurant, pharmacy, mini market,etc is within the walking distance. The room was clean. It has hot shower, A/C, amenities, coffee and tea as well. It comes with drinking water too. Room not too big but not too small as well. The hostel doesn't have a lift. It has a common area for people to hang out and have some coffee and tea. The staff was superb. Her name is Fadilah if I got her right. She returned back my wallet which I lost it and she found it at the front door of the hostel. She saved my day. I must give her a two thumbs up for this. The wallet was returned to be as it was before it was drop at the front door table. Thank you Fadilah. This will be my next hostel whenever I will come to Semporna. It has dorm as well with cheaper price.
