We have just checked out after a wonderful stay at this beautiful finca. The photos really do not do this place justice, and it is so peaceful and quiet. The staff are extremely hospitable, warm, friendly and accommodating- for example, adjusting mealtimes and menus for our children. The complimentary bottle of wine and gift on leaving was so generous and very much appreciated. The food was excellent and many items were sourced from the farm itself- the wine, the olives, the jams and honey. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with eggs made to order and delicious breads, jams, fruit, various cheeses, cold meat and more. Every night there was a fish or meat option but they could cater to our allergies/dietary requirements. They also have limited but delicious lunch menu ( pizza/pasta/bread/mallorcan open sandwiches) everyday except Tuesdays (there are a couple of nearby restaurants accessible by foot). The pool area was lovely and there were always enough cabanas for everybody ( no rush of towels out at dawn) which had freshly changed sheets everyday. The accommodation ( suite) was very spacious for our family of 4, with a beautiful terrace area and cabana with direct access to the pool area. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was spotlessly clean. The kids enjoyed the Jacuzzi bath and the outdoor space. The hotel put us in touch with a bike rental place prior to our arrival so we had bikes delivered to our hotel on our second day, which was fun. The hotel has a bike storage room, but we found our room large enough to accommodate all 3 bikes without feeling cramped in anyway. If you just wish to relax and recharge at the finca then no car is needed, they have everything you need. But if you wish to visit surrounding areas or to get supplies from the supermarket, a car is recommended as taxis are expensive and have to be ordered in advance ( you don’t see many taxis on the roads). Alcudia, Pollensa and their ports/beaches are easily accessible by car ( parking is also easy there ). In the mountains, Sanctuario deLluc is worth a visit and there are many beautiful cycling routes (including the famous Sa Calobra). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already planning to return! The only improvements we would suggest is to offer better coffee in the morning with breakfast ( the coffee in the hotel across the road was lovely when we went for lunch) and also to offer freshly squeezed (natural) juice. Other than this, finca binibona was a perfect unspoilt, authentic slice of heaven in Mallorca and we wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you so much to all the staff and owners.
