Estada relaxante. O local é incrível. A proprietária nos recebeu e fizemos "um goat tour". Conhecemos as cabeas, os gatos e o inesquecível Max o cachorro.

This beautiful property has a goat farm! The goats are very friendly and we even got a tour of their facilities. The apar**ent was clean with a nice fridge, stove, very comfortable bed. It was calm and peaceful and convenient to the Golden Circle. And it was very economical!

My wife and I loved staying at Skálatjörn for our first 3 nights in Iceland! Helena is an excellent host, and we loved how quiet the property was. Plus, they have goats, a cat, and a dog!

We have spent a wonderful night at Skalatjorn Guesthouse. It's located in a very quiet and beautiful area. It offers you a whole fully furnished apar**ent in a marvellous environment! Private bathroom, huge living room with a small kitchen as well, free parking and nice view from your window! What a lovely place. Every afternoon you have the chance to cuddle and now the sweet Icelandic goats that the owner is trying to look after and protect very passionately. We really suggest it! Well done!

Beautiful large apar**ent with three bedrooms, bath, kitchen and dining/sitting area. Plenty of room for 5 people. Absolutely loved the location out in the countryside with great views. The host and hostess were incredibly friendly and helpful. There were goats on the property and tours were given each night at 6. Something special you would not get elsewhere that enhanced our experience in Iceland. Highly recommend.

The setting is wonderfully Rural. The farm is well cared for and the facilities are very nice! The location was great for seeing the south coast. The owner is fantastic and very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again!

This is a special place! What a treasure to stay at a peaceful farm and enjoy the adorable and friendly goats. We stayed in the family apar**ent, which had everything we needed and the best window shades (for blocking the midnight sun) we encountered on our whole trip in Iceland. Don't miss the goat tour at 6 pm each day, which is included for guests. We appreciated learning about Icelandic goats and helping support their protection. Selfoss was a quick 20-minute drive for groceries or dining out. Helena recommended Krisp, which was our favorite meal in Iceland.

This is a barn conversion in a separate property to the hosts. When you drive to the main house you are met by the owners, their cat and dog and we stayed for a nice chat. The rooms are accessed across the field from them, right next to the goats. The room was basic and functional with everything we need in the kitchenette and a huge bathroom. We really enjoyed the goat tour and found Helena to be really kind and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Helena and Stephan were very accommodating and have a wonderful guesthouse on a sprawling property close to Selfoss. We shopped for breakfast groceries before checking in because the kitchenette had everything needed. Very clean and comfortable beds. One of the highlights was the goat farm tour where we met the extended family, including Max.
