70 Hectares... et l'Océan

Great location, welcoming staff & great atmosphere in the bar, on the terrace, around the pool. Clean, functional room. Excellent value. Breakfasts & dinners were excellent. Was a great place to use as a base to explore the nearby Atlantic coast.

What I mostly loved was the great outdoor spaces and the overall style of the hotel. Stylish and relaxed at the same time. We had a great weekend. Kid friendly as well, my children loved the swimming pool, played table tennis, pétanque and they had fun.

The rooms were really nicely done and felt bread new. Large comfortable bed, very cool shower room, nice furniture. Balcony was nice, but above some part of the kitchen, so we did get a beeping delivery lorry wake up at 7.30 every morning. But overall happy with both rooms we had. Pool is small, but pleasant - More of a place to bob around and cool-off, than actually swim. Some games (table football, table tennis etc) available around the hotel. However, we thought service wasn't the best. My impression was the restaurant staff were trying to give us a wide berth as our French is poor and only the restaurant manager seemed to speak English - nothing untoward, just the (inexperienced) staff, were I think, hoping one of their colleagues would step in, but they didn't. Breakfast buffet was good, lots of choice and all high quality (though no full english! :-) ). Evening meals were slow, pretty unremarkable and expensive. I'd say what I had, but i can't remember it. Laundry took a long time to come back (wouldn't have bothered if I'd known) and was extremely expensive. Thoroughly recommend hiring an electric bike from there (at reception) - Loads of places to go and lots of cycle lanes etc.

We spent 6 days in paradise! We had a large suite overseeing the pool and the golf course with two large porches and the most comfortable furniture. This hotel just opened and is magnificent. It feels just right: luxurious but laid back enough to be comfortable. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful and the managers seem to be everywhere at once! The entire team is dedicated to make your stay perfect. Easy access to the lakes and the ocean, and the adjacent small town of Hossegor. The area is really magic with everything to have perfect vacation. The breakfast buffet is particularly good and the restaurant on site a real delight. It offers local specialties and a number of classics. All excellent at very reasonable prices. Worth a trip in itself. Highly recommend visiting the sister hotel Les Hortensias du Lac while there: there is a spa and two other restaurants and they will welcome visitors from 70 Hectares. Same for the Cabane des Estagnots which provides excellent food all day long directly on the sand. The best spot to watch the sunset! although the sunset from our private porch was quite nice! Of course, one must remember that the Domaine de Fontenille is a winery in the Luberon and sipping their wine around the pool is a must... A big thank you to the entire team who made our vacation unforgettable!

Séjour très agréable. L’hôtel et ses extérieurs sont très beaux. Tout le monde est au petit soin. Seul bémol c’est le golf qui vient un peu casser le calme de l’environnement

Service client top : accueil souriant et professionnel. Réception parfaite ! Gentilles attentions en chambre (mot, petits gâteaux,etc.). Le lieu est calme, propre, joli. Je n’ai malheureusement pas eu le temps de tester la piscine mais elle est très belle.

Un endroit idéal pour être au calme, au vert, en retrait du tumult estival du centre ville d'Hossegor et de la plage tout en étant à proximité, idéal pour les amateurs de golf et de gastronomie.

Une découverte exceptionnelle. L’Hôtel est très reposant. Le service et le personnel sont impeccable.Je recommande le site au calme et prêt de tout.
