We stopped off in Saumur on our way from the Dordogne to Caen. Hotel St Pierre is my perfect hotel. Small (14Rooms) and personal where you feel like a very special guest. Regis looked after us very well and we had an excellent stay. The bed was superbly comfortable. The location is perfect and you are spoiled for choice for evening restaurants. And don’t skip the breakfast - everything you could possibly want. We will return. Thank you all.

Regis was so helpful ! A lovely man -recommending places to visit - parking our car for us .... Room was Good value for money clean & well serviced. Location is 10/10 for a town visit - parking to be expected when in a small town but Regis helped perfectly! We visited a number of restaurants - l'essential was500 metres away - both exceptional food & service/price. But need to book .... all in all a saumur is a good town to base yourself ...

The design is fabulous and is a piece of art (including the hotels and the room). Great bar and herbal tea card (personally we enjoyed verbena and camomile teas together with raspberry brendy). The staff wellcomes you as a dear friend and is ready to help with absolutely everything. The breakfast is great, one you can expect to be served at the royal residence. And is presented by a great chief;) who is really worth meeting. Thank you for the very warm welcoming. We are looking forward to returning

Small family run hotel. Friendly arrival including help with bags. Free car park at the hotel. Service was excellent, room was small but just right for us. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice (enjoy their sweet baked apple!)

Lovely and well decorated hotel and room. Every amenity well catered for. Loved the rituals toiletries and excellent shower area. Location was perfect in old town Saumur, everything in walking distance. Parking by owner quick and convenient. Would stay again.

Accueil exceptionnel. Warm welcome by reception. Perfect central location. Great, clean and comfortable room with a lovely courtyard for breakfast and drinks. Will definitely come back. Highly recommended

A lovely old hotel full of character with friendly staff in the centre of the town. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and some local caves.
The breakfast offering is fantastic and a great bar.

We were warmly greeted by the owners at Hotel St Pierre and they did everything to help us after a long car journey in our classic car. The room and the bed were very comfortable. The hotel was charming and centrally located in Saumur. We wished we had more time to explore Saumur which looked lovely. We found a nice restaurant just a 2 min walk from the hotel. We were served an amazing breakfast next morning to set us off for our journey on to Biarritz. We highly recommend this hotel.

A great stay in a lovely, atmospheric, hotel. From the moment we arrived Regis was friendly and very helpful, a super host. He made sure we had a parking spot, helped bring our bags in and found somewhere cool to store our wine. He also offered good recommendations of places to visit. The room was nicely appointed ted and cosy. Breakfast was very good, an extensive choice and good quality. Coffee was good. We also enjoyed a glass of wine one late afternoon in the courtyard after a long day out at the rugby in. Antes. Stay here, you will not regret it.
