We had a very nice stay here at Sauda Fjordhotel. It was exciting to hear some of the history of the hotel, and to see all the really old furniture it has in use still! The staff was friendly and super helpful, and the hotel made sure we had gluten-free foods available!!! There are some fantastic views from the hotel too, and we recommend you make a stop here with them

An experience among the best, the Hotel has preserved the old charm and beauty of the past, it makes you feel like stepping into the past in a Grand old Hotel that has all the old charm preserved. the amenities was that compared to a top hotel.The staff is extremely friendly and will help with all your needs. The room and view was magnificent, old charm, overlooking the fjord beautiful decorated room. We celebrated a birthday for us girls, we were also celebrated with music from Saudas trekkspill klubb, who played Happy Birthday for the occasion. The service was a 10 absolutely top! Breakfast was splendid lots of choices.

Man glaubt, man wohnt in einem Museum.
Großartige Details in den öffentlichen Räumen.
Großes Deluxe-Zimmer.
Sehr freundliche Chefin.
Allerdings: das ganze Anwesen ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, trotzdem alles sehr sauber.

Hotel moet decennia geleden mooi zijn geweest: een prachtig pand op even mooie locatie. En de inrichting van vervlogen tijden zou normaal gesproken grappig en charmant zijn. Maar het is helaas in totale staat van (vergaand) verval. Van het gebouw waar de verf vanaf valt tot en met een gebrek aan… aan alles. Gebrek aan vriendelijke service (het hotel leek gerund te worden door één overbelaste medewerker), gebrek aan werkende WiFi, gebrek aan frisse lucht (het rook er muf, zet wat ramen open!), gebrek aan comfort, gebrek aan ruimte (kleine kamers) en gebrek aan fatsoenlijk eten. De hoge prijs stond echt niet in verhouding met de wanprestatie. De kinderen vonden één ding wel leuk: het hotel was zó vervallen dat ze er zelf horrorfilmpjes hebben gemaakt… ;-)

Chambre au premier étage (pas d'ascenseur), très spacieuse : deux lits, deux fauteuils, TV, armoire. Vue sur le fjord. Wi-Fi gratuite, sans code, bon débit. Salle de bain avec baignoire-douche (l'eau chaude met du temps à arriver et elle coule à la fois du robinet de la baignoire et de la douche), sèche-cheveux. Petit déjeuner style self-service, bon, choix peu varié.

Hier een overnachting geboekt, maar bij aankomst verrast door een gesloten hotel en receptie. Na een telefoontje bleek dat wij in een achter het hotel gelegen cottage hadden geboekt en na ca. 5 minuten wachten kwam iemand de deur openen. Later kwam de dienstdoend manager ons verwelkomen en bracht het ontbijt voor de volgende ochtend. Goed geslapen en best een aardig ontbijt, maar toch iets anders dan we verwacht hadden.

Budde i det som er kalt rekkehytte bak hotellet. Der er det et først ein liten gang med klesskap, deretter et stort rom med sittegruppe (3 lenestol, bord), skrivebord og 2 enkeltsenger i dette tilfellet. Eget bad med dusj. Lite kjøleskap på rommet. Utvendig ved inngang er det sitteplass, 2 stoler og bord. Parkering rett ved. Fungerte topp for meg. Større enn et vanlig hotellrom, og frokost blir servert på hotellet, må kun gå rundt hjørnet og inn. God frokost i ein fin sal. Hotellet er særdeles flott og spesielt, tatt godt vare på.
