Monte Cristo Hotel with Rooftop Pool

We had a pleasant stay overall, largely thanks to the exceptional receptionist who definitely deserves a raise. He was incredibly sweet, always helpful, and made our experience truly memorable. The location of the hotel is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to numerous bars, supermarkets, cafes, and bakeries. However, the proximity to the boulevard and promenade meant it was quite loud, especially during the festival, making it more suitable for party-goers than those seeking a quiet vacation. We used the pool a couple of times, and despite its age, it offered a beautiful view and a great spot to watch the sunset. The entire staff, including the owner and cleaners, were very friendly and accommodating. I asked to get a better pillow and they tried to get it for me immediately without any problem. We also took a boat trip, which we highly recommend. On the downside, a few issues affected our stay. The furniture, especially on the balcony and rooftop, was old and not very clean. The AC was not functioning properly, and the shower design caused water to flood the bathroom floor. Additionally, my pajamas were lost, possibly taken by the cleaner by mistake. Despite these drawbacks, we still enjoyed our stay and would rate it 4 out of 5 stars.

The staff at this hotel have no regard to personnel properly. A staff member scratched my car with his motorcycle and claimed he did not do it. This hotel is not a 5 star hotel when staff damages property and does nothing to acknowledge the damage. I saw him do it as well.

Stayed here for 5 nights the hotel has alot of character but is in need of some updating. Specifically the bathroom. The shower soaked the bathroom every time it was used. We also found although the cleaner drops us clean towel in the time of our stay the room was not brushed or moped. On to the positives the breakfast was nice the view from both the balcony and the rooftop terrace was stunning. In all fairness everyday we have seen people painting and updating thing. Over all we have enjoyed our stay here so thank you.

After coming back from a three day trip from Llogara I stayed there for one night (before continuing to Pogradec). I'm wondering about the recent reviews, maybe I was just lucky but I totally enjoyed my stay. The room was ok, it was clean. I booked that hotel because of the view and that was good from my balcony and amazing from the rooftop with the pool. Breakfast was good and individually prepared (from a menu I ticked what I wanted). Just 50 meters away (down) there is a scooter rental with well maintained scooters.

Una presa in giro al limite della truffa. Maniglia del bagno non presente; tende delle finestre in parte staccate e mancante totalmente su una (così entra la luce di notte, al mattino e tutto il giorno); Non è presente la carta igienica e l’ho dovuta comprare io, perché nonostante le richieste, non è mai arrivata; Non posso vedere la tv perché dopo due giorni ancora non sono in grado di portarmi un telecomando; Il sifone dello scarico del bagno è rotto, quindi si sente la puzza di fogna in tutta la camera; Io specchio del bagno è fermato con il nastro adesivo nella parte superiore. Mobilio precario, una cassettiera ha il cassetto con il buco sul fondo. Si definiscono 4 STELLE!!!! Soggiorno allucinante

A parte la vista e gli 80 scalini che ti permettono di arrivare direttamente in centro, niente di più. Ho trovato una camera con il pavimento sporco di sostanza appiccicosa (rimosso dopo 3 gg). Ho dovuto chiedere (alle 22) uno straccio per pulire l’interno e il ripiano dell’armadio sporco di vecchia polvere nera. Lo spruzzino della doccia e la maniglia della porta non funzionanti. Mi è stato proposto un cambio camera il giorno dopo ma nn più disponibile. Rimanere in piscina sul tetto durante il giorno diventa difficile : troppo caldo e poco spazio ombreggiato ( 3 piccoli ombrelloni mal ridotti e un bar annunciato ma inesistente). 3-4 menù fissi sono proposti per la colazione ma qualsiasi modifica richiesta ti cambia il costo : ti viene conteggiato tutto singolarmente dunque il prezzo può raddoppiare o anche triplicare! Sconsigliato Per venirmi incontro mi è stato promesso un ristorno …. Mai pervenuto! SCONSIGLIATO!

Airco werkte niet, de badkamer stond volledig onder water wanneer je een douche had genomen & voor 12u naar je bed gaan kan niet want je hoort alle muziek van de bars buiten tot binnen, zwembad op dak was ook al 2 maand niet gekuist. Maar 1 ster waard als je het mij vraagt.

Purtroppo questa struttura non è valorizzata, perchè se qualcuno ci mettesse mano, diventerebbe uno dei più belli alberghi dell'Albania, perchè ha una posizione veramente bella e una piscina all'ultimo piano che ti porta via il fiato. Ci sono stati un sacco di problemi che mi hanno risolto e che mi hanno anche rimborsato, ma non si può dare una camera ad un cliente in questo modo. peccato

El hotel tiene una vista espectacular, sin embargo hay muchas cosas que deben remodelar y mejorar. El baño no tiene los suficientes accesorios minimos y el agua se sale de la ducha, inundando todo el baño. las habitaciones pueden tener mas accesorios y enchufes. El desayuno es regular. lo mejor, la atención del sr de recepción. la via tiene mucho trafico y el acceso es complicado durante la mayor parte del dia.
