Hotel Brilant Saranda

We had a very pleasant visit in hotel Brilant Sarande. The rooms are very elegant, clean and comfortable. The hospitality in the hotel is excelent. From the rooms you can see amazing sunsets and view to the center of Sarande. I would come here again!

A modern seaside hotel, in a rather congested part of Saranda, but with views of the town and sea. Very spacious room, comfortable beds, decent shower room but some of the plumbing (basin plug and WC cistern) were a bit fragile. Average breakfast. End of season so not many staff around.

My wife and I stayed here for just one night before taking the ferry to Corfu. With just one proviso we would recommend it as a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Saranada. The Brilant is a modern high-rise building overlook the harbor. The lobby area was attractive and welcoming, and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our room (406) was very large with a sliding glass door opening onto a spacious balcony. It had a roof-top view of the surrounding buildings and a peek a boo view of the harbor. Rooms on higher floors might have better views. There were two comfortable twin beds, night stands with outlets, a couch, a small coffee table, a desk, a built-in luggage stand, and a low bench at the foot of each bed. The decor was bright and cheery, befitting a seaside location. The tiled bathroom was large and attractive, with a shower, pedestal sink, and bidet. There was only a small shelf above the sink for storage. The only problem with the room was that the a.c. didn’t work and the room was unbearably hot even with the sliding door open. We complained but the front desk person was unable to get it working and offered us another room which had a.c. that put out only mildly cool air. We opted to stay in the original room and use a portable a.c. unit which was already there (meaning this was a persistent problem) and it worked fairly well, even though we had to leave the sliding door open slightly to allow for the unit’s exhaust tube to vent outside. Breakfast was in a pleasant room on the 5th floor with a nice view of the harbor. There was a good selection of items, though good single-cup coffee was an extra charge. Overall, we recommend the Brilant, provided you obtain a room with effective air conditioning.

An average hotel with satisfactory lodging, an adequate breakfast and service available when needed all near the waterfront. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it to others? As a bargain if you wanted to save money.

Staff is super awesome. Location is great for walking about. Clean, larger size rooms for this area. Balcony AMAZING. Let's talk about the Breakfast 5th floor. Biggest array of foods . Delicious and Staff outstanding.

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful location. Beautiful a**osphere. Right in the center of Saranda. You have everything near you! Right next to the beach and a huge variety of restaurants and things to do. The hotel rooms are quite beautiful. Kept very clean and sleek. Fresh towels and sheets of course. Breakfast was included and it had many options and was quite tasty. The staff is very friendly. Would recommend to any foreigners traveling to Albania to see the beautiful Saranda.

Incredible view. Duvet had no cover Thought that was odd and not really sanitary. But it was comfortable and staff friendly. No complimentary water in rooms. Promenade is a great walk along the sea. Huge balcony To sit and have a glass of Wine.

Lovely hotel. Well situated near to the first public beach Block of flats in front mean only Upper floors get a proper full sea view Room very large, large TV - nothing English - bathroom Very clean Enormous double bed but had to make up bedding ourselves Balcony, table & chairs, a s a clothes drying rack Breakfast exceptional for Albania. All the usual salad, meat, cheese, etc. And some crudités nicely prepared Orange juice the closest to decent juice we've had, and another juice too Decent coffee Range of tea bags to choose from Fruit salad and fruit, rice pudding - yeah-. The kumquat compote was delish. No toast though but bread choice decent And a wonderful view from the 5th floor dining room Main gripe and hence loose 1 star - WHAT IS IT WITH THE POTTED PLANTS BLOCKING THE STAIRCASE. NEXT TO THE TOP STEPS, HALFWAY DOWN ULTIMATE TRIP AND FIRE EXIT HAZARD ALL NEED TO BE MOVED OUT OF THE WAY
