We had such an amazing experience. After almost a week in Istanbul, then several days in Athens, we were ready to relax, and that’s what we did! Demetrios was amazing, and such a gracious host. He took care of every detail! The hotel is lovely! The rooms are amazing! The breakfast was fantastic, and there was so much attention to detail. The staff was there tirelessly, day after day, and they were so attentive! The view was spectacular. The location is amazing if you want to be away from the cruise ships. We loved our excursions to Akrotiri and Demetrios made sure we had a cab and a good rate upfront, so no haggling involved. Oia was also lovely for shopping and the restaurants were awesome. I have already told several friends about this trip and they are considering it for their next vacation. Yamas!

Our experience with The Vasilicos was nothing but positive and we would love to return one day. We stayed for a few days but we were a bit unlucky with the weather. But this is where the hospitality makes the difference. The staff did everything they could to make us feel better and they helped us with everything. Dimitris is the concierge of the hotel and he goes way above and beyond to make sure that you are actually enjoying your stay. He always checked if we needed anything and sorted our whole stay in terms of restaurants and activities. He truly cares about the guests and he always knew what we wanted. The breakfast was unbelievable. We wish we could have enjoyed it more in our terrace with the astonishing view but Chris always showed up at the right time in case we wanted something extra. Hospitality makes the difference and we will forever remember our stay because of the staff.

We loved everything about our experience with The Vasilicos - from the original booking and pre-arrival communication through to our actual stay. Dimitri, the concierge, and all the kitchen and hotel staff were amazing. Because the hotel is small, the service is very personalised. You feel like you're staying with friends. We stayed in the Belvedere Suite which was just wonderful. Incredibly well appointed and comfortable with lots of thoughtful amenities. We had a large, private terrace with the most incredible view over to the volcano. [Sadly the weather was extremely windy and a little cold so we didn't get to enjoy the terrace as much as we would have liked.] The included breakfast was so enjoyable and filling... it set us up for the entire day. We booked directly with The Vasilicos through their website which included some additional benefits such as free transfers. We can't recommend The Vasilicos highly enough for a fantastic stay in an incredible location.

I cannot say enough good things about the Vasilicos & the V-team that make this place so special. The room is beautiful, clean, and private with a breathtaking view. Eating delicious breakfasts every morning on our patio & enjoying Aperol Spritzes in the sun by the pool was a dream. Dimitris was so welcoming & helpful - from organizing all of our transportation, to booking a Wine tasting at the sister winery & a couples massage in our room, to having our laundry done - he made our stay seamless & relaxing. Having Chris bring us our coffee (& second coffee) every day was such a lovely start to our mornings. Cannot emphasize enough how friendly & accommodating the V-team are. The beauty is in the details at the Vasilicos - to the daily ice creams brought to us, to the personalized pillows, to the chocolates left in our room at night. Truly the most memorable & lovely experience. You will not regret booking at the Vasilicos!

We had a fantastic stay here few weeks ago and we just wanted to express our gratitude to the Staff who were outstanding hosts! The hotel by itself is gorgeous and the views are out of this world but the staff went the extra mile to ensure that we were enjoying our time here. To Demetrius who was always available for us if we needed recommendations, general information or even be there and make a friendly conversation with us, a massive thank you! To the rest, Chris and Arjay thank you as well for being there for us and of course looking after us ! Everyone, your kindness is something else!

My husband and I stayed at The Vasilicos after a recommendation from our close friends! We had an incredible stay there that was accompanied by not only amazing views and location but excellent hospitality and service! Dimitris helped arrange transportation throughout our stay, set up a catamaran day and massages for us, and was there for all of our needs during the trip! Chris provided excellent service every morning bringing us breakfast to our personal terrace space! We chose to add on the honeymoon package and it was the perfect addition to our trip! We can’t recommend enough!

I cannot recommend the Vasilicos enough! Everything was amazing from the cleanliness of the hotel, fantastic views, kind and attentive staff (shoutout to Dimitris, Chris, and RJ), and delicious meals (our favorite dinner of the trip). We stayed in the Efta Suite to celebrate our honeymoon and we are so happy that we did! Dimitris helped us arrange transportation to and from port, made dinner and massage reservations, and helped us arrange our Catamaran tour of Santorini. He did all the paperwork so we didn’t have to! Truly helped us stay in the mindset to relax and enjoy our vacation.

The Vasilicos has been a remarkable experience that we shall repeat again someday. From start to finish everything was perfect. The view was out of this world! We will never forget this kind of view! Waking up everyday and seeing that was our favourite thing! The breakfast was amazing! Chris served us every morning and always with a smile! He was also very kind to help us with our luggage! Thank you Chris! Also a huge thank you to the housekeeping team! They always checked on us and always cleaned our room to perfection! The one who deserves all the credit though for making our stay so comfortable and so memorable is the concierge, Dimitris. He was amazing in every depar**ent. He contacted us first via email before our arrival, arranged everything for us and then we met him at the hotel and we couldn’t be more grateful. He made our trip look so easy and we didn’t break a sweat! To The Vasilicos, thank you so much for making our first trip to Santorini so memorable! We will never forget you!

We had a lovely time at the Vasilicos. We stayed in the King Cat suite, which is really cute, but then they upgraded us to the Vasilicos honeymoon suite, which was huge. The view from both rooms was to die for too. Lunch at the hotel is reasonably priced also and the food is lovely. But most importantly, the staff are lovely. A special shout out to Chris who is an absolute sweetheart!
