Meltemi Village Hotel

Meltemi Village has been a beautiful setting for our holiday. It is really a gem tucked away behind beautiful flowered walls and gates, in the heart of Perissa with everything walkable but quiet and peaceful inside. The hotel is kept very clean and the team are so warm and attentive. The pool area is small and quiet - ideal for those looking to relax. Breakfast is varied and well cooked. Although the lighting could be improved a little so you can see what is on offer. That is only a minor observation though. In summary, great place, welcoming staff and highly recommended. Thank you.

A fantastic holiday at the Meltemi! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was a fantastic holiday. The customer service team waiting staff and the cleaners they simply could not do enough to make your stay a memorable experience. A very relaxing enjoyable hotel with a fantastic pool view of which was extremely appreciated as we stayed for two weeks (I did email prior to arriving asking if we possibly could have a pool view and this was placed on our notes so thank you) There is only 2 reasons why we did not give this a Five on our review and I think on reflection it was fair. 1. The drain in our room (number 35) every time we used the sink the stench from the drain in the floor was horrendous to the point we always had to keep the bathroom door closed . The smell was like rotten eggs needs addressing urgently. 2. The poolside furniture! these all need needs replacing, wooden and rickety and not the most comfortable. Some were broken yet still in use and every time you moved the whole pool area knew out this as the noice from was like an old creaking door! If had one suggestion it would be to replace them all! This would make the pool area so much more enjoyable. Not having to worry about out a bed collapsing underneath you would have been fantastic and please take all the broken ones out of the area. This was a lovely hotel and my two points are constructive but fair! A lovely hotel and a great stay thank you .

Me and my husband just came back from a fabulous week at this gorgeous hotel. Our room was cleaned daily to a very high standard and we had a room with plunge pool and whirlpool which was cleaned every other day. We stayed at bed & breakfast board basis and there was so much choice and variety. The staff are all so friendly. Bogdan is such a hard worker and always so pleasant. Hotel is located only a 5 minute walk to Perissa black sandy beach. Bus stop outside the hotel which takes you straight to Fira, we only paid 5euros for both of us one way. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay. Me and my husband celebrated our 22 year wedding anniversary and they left us a bottle of wine in the room with a lovely note. Thanks again to you all for making our time in Santorini so special.

My wife and I very recently returned to meltemi village after first staying at the end of last September and being completely blown away by the hotel, perissa the resort, Santorini the island. We have always said we would never visit the same place twice until now that is, we have found our perfect place, Obviously people who have stayed have their own opinions but to us it's where we want to be and we spoke to quite a few people who have been numerous times. Massive mention to the staff of course every single one of them. Courteous, the most friendliest hotel staff we've known and keep the place spotlessly clean, Also big thanks to the reception team especially Roi she's my favourite Greek person always cheerful, makes sure your looked after and I always enjoyed our chats, informative of course, The hotel itself is spaciously set out, good size lagoon pool nice pool bar area especially to sit out and have breakfast which is always plentiful with a good choice our room was nice and also cleaned daily.The hotel for us is the most relaxing chiied out place so we're booking again, One last thing when we first got there we were welcomed back and when shown to our room was a bottle of wine, two glasses and a corkscrew with a nice welcome back letter. So thanks meltemi we will see you soon.

I stayed here for a week with my wife for a well deserved 20th Anniversary break. On drop off the street is under-whelming initially and you can be forgiven for wondering if you've made a good choice but as soon as you walk through the archway and past the heavy wooden doors you are soon transported into what I can only describe as an amazing Oasis. The hotel grounds in my opinion are beautiful, white washed walls, spotlessly clean and caped in purple flowers and green palm trees, you soon come up to the lovely pool. Within seconds you have forgotten all about the busy noisy road you have left just yards behind you. Reception is managed by Roi who is extremely professional and friendly and that vibe runs through the entire team at Meltemi. Customer Services is easy when you genuinely care about giving a good service and the entire team are authentic and genuine in trying to ensure you are welcome and enjoy every minute you are in their care. We stayed in a junior sweet which had a bedroom upstairs as well as a bedroom which was reached a few stairs off of the lounge area. We also had a whirlpool. It was spotlessly clean as per everything else on site. Perissa as a village is pretty quiet but we found plenty to eat and drink for our weeks stay along the beach front. Prices vary, you can usually eat for less than you would pay in the UK, and I found the quality to be far better than you would get here at home. Drinks on the other hand are probably a little pricey in most places, but if you want to go "cheap" Dorians across the road is excellent value when it comes to alcoholic drinks. All in all, a weeks stay in Meltemi and Perissa won't disappoint. If you want somewhere slow paced and relaxing its difficult to think how you would better it. Santorini overall offers a little bit of everything from the authentic Greek streets to the modern 2024 villas, the views are spectacular, the food is good, and even the weather is great.

I'm still here as I'm writing the review so best get on with it .. well honestly it is well worth the money. hotel is run like clock work clean service food the people who work here are just wonderful so please don't read any negative reviews on here its really a hidden little gem . I'm from the UK Derbyshire 🇬🇧 .. think the Americans expect a little bit more which is understandable but hey your in Greece 🇬🇷 highly recommend this place ive absolutely nothing to moan about guys get it booked... restaurants near by are family run so take pride in what thy do and its excellent..have a lovely time here in perrisia.. 5 out of 5 for us hope it helps you .andy

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. The standard room as very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and there were tea making facilites and a small fridge inside a cupboard that didn’t go off when you took the card out, so the milk stayed fresh. Room was cleaned and towels changed everyday and pool towels are available. Food at the snack bar was nice and breakfast, which was included, had plenty of choice and was tasty. Staff couldn’t do enough to make my stay enjoyable. It’s easy to travel around the island on the buses, which stop close to the hotel. I had an amazing stay in Santorini, loved it

Checked in today for our 12 trip to Santorini and our 3rd stay at Meltemi Village. As always check in was friendly and welcoming,thanks Roi. I emailed ahead to request an upstairs room and my request was granted. The room (37) is clean, modern and has a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. I’m really looking forward to the next 7 days as I know the staff are exemplary and the breakfast is great. See you next year, Donna and John

Fantastic hotel. On the quieter side of the island in Perissa which was nice because Fira and Oía are busy places. The bus stop is a few paces from the hotel entrance (about 20 mins to Fira). Meltemi is 5 minutes walk from the beach, there’s lots of great restaurant (Mama’s Food was our favourite). The room was wonderful and came with a whirlpool. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, there was a choice of pastries, Greek, continental, English, fruits ect. The staff are lovely, polite people who will help with anything and everything. Just a perfect place to base yourselves and Santorini.
