A homely, laid back place with comfortable, clean rooms run by wonderful hosts. Great pool area with sunloungers, tables and chairs. Kettle, cups, plate and cutlery and drinking water provided. Bring your own toiletries as these are not included. Clean towels provided every day. Fantastic value for money.

Very comfortable rooms and always clean towels. The pool is wonderful as well. Conveniently located to the beach, many restaurants, and a great bakery just across the street. Vassilli, the owner, is absolutely delightful. I will come back to The Best if I return to Santorini.

Really good budget apar**ent a few moments from the beach and the main drag for bars restaurants. The apar**ent is small I think but we spent little time in there given really nice outdoor space in the shade. The hosts are v v friendly and helpful. Maria is a star and a great go to person.

were greeted by Mr Vassilis on arrival and soon were introduced to Ms Maria. Ms Maria , a wonderful lady took care of our needs in a very professional manner. Rooms are clean and tidy. Place is close to the Perissa beach. There are wonderful places to drink and dine close to tis hotel. would love to stay here again

We loved our experience at the best. Perfect management team who couldn't be anymore helpful. Rooms were simple but clean and warm during a cold spell in santorini. Maria always went out of her way to ensure guests had everything for their stay. Would recommend for tourists who didn't seek the 5 star experience.

It may be an unassuming hotel, but it ticks all the boxes in terms of facilities, cleanliness, friendliness and location. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome, even waving us off at the end of our stay. Our room was a reasonable size, and cleaned daily. It had a terrace with comfortable furniture to relax in after a day exploring this beautiful island. The WiFi was also first class. Just as importantly, the location was perfect. It was a few seconds from the seafront, with its restaurants, shops and bars. It wasn't too much of a shock to get up and catch the sunrise over the sea. The bakery with the best croissants I have tasted anywhere was also a few seconds away. As the room has coffee and tea making facilities, this was a great and reasonable option for breakfast. To sum up. It certainly was The Best Hotel.

We spent one week at The Best and we definitely recommend it! Vassilis and Maria are kind and very friendly, they really work with passion and treat guests very nicely (which is something not to be taken for granted, especially in a touristic Place). The hotel has a large pool with sunbeds at disposal, and the entire area was clean and quiet (probably we were also lucky as all guests during that week were pretty quiet). Our room had a terrace and stairs to go to the upper solarium on the roof, shared with other two rooms. The description mentioned a "sea view" which was actually very limited, but both terrace and solarium were very nice. Due to Covid, breakfast is normally not included but you can ask it for 10€/person, Vassilis and Maria themselves prepare it at the pool. We got it the first morning only as you have a nice bakery right across the street, where you can get coffee and pastries and eat them in your balcony at the hotel. If you rent a car/scooter/quad there's a large parking outside the hotel. We also asked for the transfer from/to the airport that was on time and very professional. In case we'll come back to Santorini one day, we would love to come back here.

Our first time on Santorini(and certainly not our last).I cannot believe how lucky I was to find THE BEST Hotel here because we will not book anywhere else in the future.On our arrival the welcome we got from Vassilis(the Boss) and Maria was so relaxing,we felt at home straight away.They are such lovely people who make you feel like part of the Family and our first night was spent with Vassilis and some of his lovely friends by the pool drinking some of his own wine.It could not have been a better start to our holiday.We had a wonderful time on this beautiful Island with the help of Vassilis and Maria's knowledge and WHEN we come back this is where we shall stay.I recommend THE BEST 100%.

Without doubt one of our favourite hotels we stayed during our visit in Santorini, Greece! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner himself Mr Vasilis, he were treated as family who came to visit. We stayed for 14 days and he made sure we have a comfortable stay, he took an extra mile and entertained my children through feeding his homegrown chicken. Which my children truly loved the experience. Mr Vasilis has such a warm personality and a real epitome of Greek hospitality (recommendable!). The Best hotel is located in Perissa, 10 mins walk to the black beach. It has beautiful scenery of the mountain and seaview, with nearby gyros restaurant and minimarket. It has clean rooms, with a feel of traditional Santorini home and an outdoor pool. Please note, this is not a hotel chain or 4/5-star hotel or so, but the a**osphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the owner and staff who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality!
