We stayed at this hotel for a week and to be honest can’t understand all the negative reviews that people have given . We arrived at the hotel well before the checkin time of 2 pm and we were shown where we could leave our luggage until our room was ready . We were handed the keys to our rooms just before 2 pm . I had requested a room which was adapted for a disabled person and was given a massive room that accommodated all my needs . The rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel generally was well maintained throughout. The staff in the dining area worked extremely hard and were pleasant enough. We were on half board basis and there was enough food and variety . Staff were quick to refill any empty trays . A lot of reviews moan about the food but we found the food good considering this is a 3 star hotel ( not a 5 star ) and definitely provides value for money . The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the middle of the shops and near the promenade and seafront. Buses are easily available within a few minutes walk from the hotel . Overall the hotel delivered what we were looking for and would definitely stay again

Beautiful blue skies and hot sun for the ten days we were here. Usually go away with my partner but just girls this time. We stayed in a twin room with a balcony. Modern, nice room the hotel pool is small, but we didn’t even use it as the beach is only over the road. This was a great location for restaurants, in the middle of the shops and close to the bus terminus to Palma and beyond. Had plans to do things but folded when we spent a day on the sand. Even a coffee shop on the beach. Planning a fortnight in September this year.

My brother in law booked us all into this hotel for a week. Close to the beach, well actually right across the street. Absolutely loved Santa Ponsa, a bit old style town, nice places to eat, great jewellery shops and bars and live music if you fancy a fun night. Rooms in the hotel were good, not fussy, modern and clean. Good breakfast, super nice dining room. Staff here, do their thing and the 24hr reception was great. Free Wi-Fi. Great choice Dougie.

Although this was an extra late getaway it worked so well for us. Santa ponsa has a huge, flat beach they put out beds and ratten shade umbrellas in rows, even arriving at eleven we still found a couple free to hire. Good basic hotel, our room had all we needed, surprisingly good sleep, quiet, no bright sun waking us up even slept in the first morning and missed breakfast. Shops and restaurants all around the hotel, nice seaside town. Both enjoyed this relaxed style break. No complaints, from me.

The hotel and rooms were tidy and clean and cleaning staff and two of the reception staff were friendly and helpful. However the room was small and the balcony was never sunny and had a view of rubbish bins, cigarette ends and the back of a tall building. Worse than that the restaurant staff were very rude. I accept half board does not cover soft drinks but was told water was ok only for the next evening to be told no water even is allowed with meals!! None of this is advertised. The food itself was average at best. The safe is advertised as standard/free but I was charged and no fridge as advertised. Also the reception attempted to charge me tourist tax for my 14 year old son quite assertively. The whole experience left me thinking that parts of the hotel especially the pool were good but let down by very unfriendly rude staff in parts. I would say all in all 2 star rather than the advertised 3 star.

This beachfront hotel is also right in the middle of shops and restaurants, so you won’t have to go far. We booked a double room paying the extra for a sea view, silly not to. Room was clean with daily housekeeping and fresh towels if you needed them. The restaurant was always busy but they had a good flow going and it was topped up regularly. The bus terminus is close by with transport to Palma for a few euros. We usually hire bikes but enjoyed the beach so much we didn’t bother. I found a great mini market a few feet away from the hotel that had the best fruit and fresh rolls for beach pic/nicks. Best value holiday we’ve done in a while.

Good flight and transfer. Hotel is at one end of the main Santa Ponsa beach, close to shops and cafes. Far enough away from noisy bars, the worst we had to contend with were the flock of green parakeets. Handy beach bar across the road, plenty of beds and brollys to hire on this fantastic beach. Daily temperature was around 24 to 26 but It felt hotter. Buses ran all day to Palma and the Cathedral, is a must. Loved this hotel, right on the beach, not too fancy, great location in Santa Ponsa would definitely give this another go.

For a 3 star this place was ideal for a trip with friends. Rooms are small but actually we had all the room we needed. They were clean and lovely view of the pool. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Food was as you’d expect from all inclusive. Salad a plenty, pizza, pasta, meats and cake and ice cream puddings with lots of fruit. Breakfast was lovely and fresh pancakes made every day. The wine and sangria for the all inclusive was nice enough and also had the gin which again was nice. Seating indoor and outdoor for eating and frequently open. Pool bar is good and had no problem getting loungers. Pool doesn’t open until 10am and no reserving loungers allowed. Can hire a Bali bed for €25 a day which I don’t think charging for it was necessary to be honest. Great location as right at the beach within walking distance of lovely restaurants and bars. Took about an hour in the transfer bus. Safe is €3 a day. Staff mostly pleasant and friendly. Negatives were the mosquitos. Everyone in my group were getting bitten every day. They seemed to be in the room so not sure if coming through the air con or vent in the bathroom.

100%to the Whala isabela reception staff extremely helpful they made time for everyone. stayed bed and breakfast plenty of everything and fresh. everywhere spotless to cleaning staff lovely room not enough sockets as usual in sp. and 1 issue with young group of 3 noise issue dealt with straight away by manager . nice pool area this is what gives 100% they have a hoist chair to let people with mobility issues use the pool lovely to see well done whala isabelaluckily we didn't need it looking forward to returning. jim and helen
