Hotel diferenciado com localização excelente no Parque de los Novios, que é onde tem o agito da cidade histórica, à noite. O quarto que fiquei (café) tem um tamanho excelente com uma ótima varanda de frente para a piscina (que é ótima). O atendimento dos funcionários é um outro aspecto a ser destacado, sempre prontos em ajudar, em especial o sr. Jesus, tendo o cuidado, por exemplo, de preparar cafés da manhã antes do horário do hotel, nos dias em que tive que sair muito cedo para passeios. Achei o valor da diária um pouco caro mas no aspecto geral foi uma estadia muito proveitosa.

Very pleasant stay in a nice hotel boutique. The location is excellent to visit Santa Marta with an excellent fish restaurant just next door.The rooms are simple but comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The rooftop and small pool were delightful. The breakfast was good and tasty.

Absolute disaster from start to finish. I appreciate this hotel has good reviews and this is why we chose to stay there. We checked in and our room was nice with a large balcony so we took the opportunity of having showers and do some clothes washing. Later that evening we were asked to move rooms as they had checked us into the wrong room. With the help and my daughter’s Colombian boyfriend they agreed we should stay. We were woken at 10.30 again demanding we move which we didn’t. Woken again at 11.30 stating they would call the Police if we didn’t move. We reluctantly agreed so packed everything up, got dressed and moved. My wife and I are almost 70 and it was a horrible experience. To cap it all they tried to charge us more at checkout although we had paid the full amount oncheck in

My 3 night experience at this hotel was simply perfect. The entire staff is very welcoming and helpful at all times. The typical colombian breakfast is the best I've tried in the country so far. The pool and steam room are so nice that I spent most of my days relaxing here and had to push myself to experience the rest of Santa Marta. The steam bath surpassed my expectations as it easily compares to a steam room in a european spa hotel.

NOT RECOMMENDED! The hotel is located in one of the noisiest areas of the city. The music from the many bars nearby is incredibly loud. Stay away from this place if you are looking for some quiet days in Santa Marta.

During our trip to Colombia this was the best hospitality we received. Very helpful and accommodating. We met the hotel owners daughter she was always there to help, they helped us with a trip to Tyrona and our next transfer to Minca. Everybody on the staff were always looking to help us. It is located in the center, accesssible to major locations and a bunch of restaurants at night. The interior of the hotel is beautiful and has a pool on top. City center is full of life at night so will be noisy but we couldn’t hear a thing at night. Highly recommend this place if you are in Santa Marta.

The room was too small like a closet and there was no real window, the window was opening to a solid wall. Adjacent restaurant/ bar shares a wall with the hotel rooms, they were playing loud music till 1:00 am. I don’t recommend staying here, the hotel is located on a dirty chaotic street. if you have to stay in Santa Marta, try to get a hotel with ocean view and stay away from the city centre since it’s a dirty ugly city without any charm. Trust me you won’t miss anything by bypassing Santa Marta city centre. I arrived at 3 pm, after they charged my credit card then they told me the room wasn’t ready. It was an extremely hot day, I had to go sit in a cafe waited till 6 pm. Even at 6 pm they told me the room still wasn’t ready because the lock was broken. Then they gave me another room that someone recently smoked in it. I showed them my reservation that was for a non-smoking room, but they insisted that it was my imagination and forced me to get the smoking room.

Great time at Placita Vieja Hotel Boutique and Spa. Me my wife and daughters treated ourselves to spa day at Placita Vieja. The hotel is charismatic, modern and historic to the Santa Marta area. We enjoyed body massage, pool with whirlpool beds, steam room and sun deck. The staff was great with all drink requests. The hotel is right in the heart of the center of Santa Marta with excellent dining options and night entertainment. Overall a great spa day, highly recommend and will definitely return.
