Hotel Villa Rinascimento

Exzellent Hotel in a quite area. The Hotel has unique, historic rooms with a Special Charme. The Restaurant we havent tried - however around the corner are severql Good Restaurants as well. The Kids Love the Pool especially the one for children. PISA is just 15 minutes and a Short visit is also possible. We had a fantastic time. Breakfast is very good and the coffee also.

The Villa is so beautiful we want to get married there! Beautiful property, fantastic staff, breakfast was heavently, and so was the diner and wine. I am a complete food snob and I have never had such a fantastic holiday. Great air conditioning and very comfortable beds! Thank you for having us!

This was the most beautiful accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. The pictures do not do it justice. It is absolutely stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the pool area was clean and picturesque. The woman who checked us in on Saturday September 30, 2023 was so friendly and helpful, and she also served us our dinner that night when we came down to eat after relaxing by the pool all day. She was a wonderful and kind member of staff that was clearly working very hard all day. The sunset during our dinner was gorgeous, and the pasta dishes we got were amazing. My only regret is that we only stayed here for one night before moving on to Lucca city centre- next time we will definitely extend our stay at this little piece of Tuscan heaven.

Loved this place, it’s the opposite of a Holliday inn. Lovely friendly staff, great food. The building itself has kept its past. Will definitely be back. Do the walk up the hill if able, great views. Rooms clean and comfortable. What’s not to like.

A lovely place. Beautiful pool and excellent restaurant. Close to Lucca and Pisa. I highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful building, pool, and well-maintained grounds in a lovely setting in the Tuscan countryside. Our room was at the top of the building, up several flights of narrow stairs - it's definitely not a suitable property for anyone with mobility issues. No tea or coffee making facilities were available in our room, despite requesting these prior to arrival - and there was no fridge. The breakfast was ok, but not great - they'd run out of various things by 9am and these weren't replenished. I had to request a coffee at the bar and wasn't offered a second. Main complaint - very loud euro-dance music outside on the terrace until at least 2am (on a Sunday night) and an uncomfortable folding bed with a sagging mattress to sleep on (it was advertised as a triple room) meant I got very little sleep. I mentioned the loud music to the receptionist upon checking out and she just shrugged her shoulders in a disinterested sort of way and said she wasn't there in the evenings. The staff all appeared to be local teenagers and seemed to spend most of their time ambling about the table football game outside, not sure how the place is actually managed or run.

I booked this villa back in March for a stay in July. This was a very important stay as i arranged with the hotel to prepare for me the Portico so i could propose to my partner. The receptionist took my vision, quoted it, and executed it perfectly! It truly was amazing and as i imagined. The staff were very friendly, the bar was cheap, the pool was clean and the location private and relaxed. Taxis are expensive to/from Lucca town to the Villa (50 euro)! We didnt have a car so were relying on train/taxi. But we actually got a bus back to Lucca as advised by the staff (only 1 euro 50!!!). I stayed in the superior room and it was certainly large with a large modern bathroom. The room was rustic and had a fridge which was handy. Considering this was a 3 star hotel it really is fantastic value for money. I can see more potential i this venue and i'm sure the owner will invest more into the rooms as the world recovers from covid. we will be back!!!

Stayed for 5 nights in one of the annex rooms. My room had a kitchen ( no utensils) and a fridge. The bathroom had been recently refitted but the bedrooms could do with a bit of TLC. Beautiful main building and good breakfast included. The pool was lovely and well maintained. Cleanliness could have been better - dirty ashtrays outside the rooms, bits of litter on the path not picked up. Having said this, I would be happy to stay here again

Great location, hotel kept in good conditions. Check in went smooth and the receptions gave us all necessary information. The room was quite dirty (e.i. we found toothpaste spots on the sink and all over that area), and what is the point of having a small kitchen if there isn’t even a fork in the shelf? Restaurant is expensive and not worth it, as an example we ordered antipasto misto (€14) and then we found the exact same cured meats for breakfast which it was even included. Breakfast was okay nothing special, a bit ridiculous the display cabinet right in the middle of the room with inside some boiled eggs. Unfortunately they had a wedding on one of the nights we stayed, so the restaurant was closed and if you wanted to speak to one member of the staff you had to go through all the well dressed people of the wedding (a bit embarrassing if you were dressed to go to the swimming pool). So we went to the swimming pool which it was nice and apparently clean. There was no hot water in the room so we could not have a shower, as the staff was very dedicated to the wedding we decided just to mention it in the morning at the check out, which we did and the answer was “oh which room again?”, and that’s it, I wasn’t asking for any discount or free stuff but at least and apology would have been nice. Overall not a good experience, we don’t recommend it.
