Forte Village Resort - Villa Del Parco & Spa

I’ve been to Sardinia for a company congress. The weather was nice and unexpected for April. Probably not really hot for swimming in the sea but they got a heated pool. There are different hotels inside the property and I stayed in Villa del Parco, next to the wellness center and located in a park among the trees. It seems to be one of the luxury option in the resort. Stayed only few days, tried the spa, go kart and had a football game with my colleagues. Hope to come back with my family.

3 words: luxurious, personal and inspiring. A big thanks for all the staff in Forte Village to make our experience unique. I recommend ristorante Belvedere in Villa del Parco to have the best quality dinner with superb chef and very friendly Maitre. We will come back

My family and I have just spent the last week at the Forte Village, Sardinia for the first time. The village concept is interesting and quite different to other resorts. It is secluded within a large site. You will do a fair few steps on your stay, which we all liked, it took us a few days just to navigate ourselves around. This maybe a slight issue for older or less mobile visitors. Our villa rooms where nestled amongst tropical gardens, very private and always kept spotless, as were all the common parts. The staff in general were always curtious and professional. The most dissappointing aspect for us was the lack of things to do or organised activities. As others have mentioned, the various activities have to be paid for. Even table tennis! The hourly rates are extraordinarily high. There were no group sessions of any kind whilst we were there in early September – though we were led to believe that they only run these in July / August. So, if you are happy to spend your days by the pool or the beach and maybe visit the gym (for free!), and in the evenings go for dinner and a walk afterwards before heading back to your room, this resort would suit you. The places you could go to after dinner ie the bars or the main entertainment area hardly had any one there, and as such lacked a**osphere. We had paid for half board for our stay. The food in the Cavalier buffet was generally reasonable, and the breakfast at the Villa de Parco fairly basic, but okay. I should mention a few names for both positive and negative service. A special mention for Giovani at our reception who always greeted us with a friendly smile and did his best to help. Another special thanks to Gianni, whom served us every morning at breakfast, a genuinely kind and helpful man. Our only negative experience was at the reception to the health suite / gym. We found Alisia’s general demeanor to be unnecessarily passive aggressive, making us feel unwelcome and always nitpicking about something or another whenever she was there. Finally, I would really have liked to have some clarity on exactly what is included in the half board package and what you will have to pay for. This also applies to the activities. You could easily rack up a large bill if you opt in for the usual holiday resort daily pursuits. Whilst the check-in process was easy, we were only handed a file and a resort map with no further explanations, this would have been an ideal time to provide transparent information as outlined above.

We had a wonderful stay @ Villa Del Parco - forte village - the staff were attentive and extremely helpful, dinner reservations easy and rooms cleaned and kept immaculately. we hope to head back soon.

We stayed in Forte Village Resort - Castello II in August for 5 nights (bungalow no 409). Unfortunatelly this hotel is far away from 5 stars. There are many better options anywhere else in the world and if Forte Village wants to charge the prices they do, they need to do some market research and see what their competitors globally offer in return. Comperatively for example to Maxx Royal hotels or One and Only Portonovi this hotel is max 2-3 stars. You have to pay for everything additional - even to rent a bikes. Pools are old and dirty and needs to be renovated. Lifeguard blocks sunbets on Castello swimming pool by putting newsoapers on it for the „special guets” (like in Egypt :) Very often sunbeds are blocked all day and guests never come.. I asked manager (older guy) from the reception the reason they do this and he said that there are some „special guests” that pay more for the rooms and they have priority… he could not understand my anger. The big advantage of the hotel is staff - everyone always have a friendly and helpful attitude. Especially guys from Tiki Beach Bar, Andrea from diving center (fantastic instructor for kids with huge experience and great attitude), Marco from the grill restaurant (he has the potential to be a manager) Hotel defenietely has a grat potential because of its location but it needs to be reorganised and renovated.

Our stay at Villa del Parco & Spa was wonderful, the Hotel is our personal favourite in the Resort, such a nice a**osphere starting from the Spa to the hall itself, so many things to do for kids but also for adults. The staff is so nice and helpful! Planning on coming back next year!

This hotel is absolutely magnificent. The staff embraces Italian hospitality, rooms are spotless, food at every restaurant (there are so many) is delicious and Marcello, the manager, works tirelessly to make sure every guest has a magical experience. You will not find a more lush, beautiful resort in all of Italy.

We had the perfect holiday at Forte Village resort. Never had another holiday as relaxing as at Forte Village Resort, Villa del Parco. It is an absolutly peacefull heritage and you don't feel to be guest in a large resort, such as FVR. The food at Belvedere restaurant was outstanding, so was breakfast at Villa del Parco. Never experienced a spa like the Thermae del Parco. Floating in the "olio di mare" is a unique experience.

A special oasis, fantastic for families, our children have been going since being toddlers and prefer Forte to any other place we have taken them in the last 15 years. Takes a little time to orientate yourselves. Most guest are repeat, which speak volumes. Some of the nicest beaches in the Med
