Abamar Hotel

Great location and pool and beach. However we very disappointed about the service, staff not always gentle especially at restaurant. We appreciated the work of the barman.

Property was well positioned next to the sea but difficult to find as it is on a fenced estate area. Property was old, concrete cast and showed it. Rooms had had the bathrooms refurbed but bed and wardrobe were old and battered. Stairs were worn edged and had lines in the marble making evening descent hazardous. Lift battered and noisy. Staff on reception sullen and bored. Swimming pool was unsafe for families. Very deep throughout the whole pool even for me (i am 6ft). small pool at the side but the whole pool had broken edge tiles and chipped or missing repairs. Access ladders too short and broken. Menu for evening looked dire and we notice no one eating, choosing instead to eat in town. Breakfast very average and coffee stale and bitter. Amazed that this could even begin to be considered as a four-star hotel. A TWO star on a good day at best. Better still, avoid.

The reception staff were helpful. The room clean but bare, no pictures, functional, the bed was comfortable and bathroom good. Communal areas downstairs ok. Swimming pool was dirty, full of tree and plant debris and sand from peoples feet on the bottom, skimming the surface with a net made jo difference. Swimming pool not open all day, did not open till 9.00 then shut gor several hours at 13:00. We were charged extra for swimming towels and the hotels private beach you had to pay to use the parasols and sunbeds. On our last night we could jot eat in the restaurant because there were people on half board, when we saw the restaurant it was empty.

During our stay at the Abamar Hotel in Sardinia, we experienced a mix of positives and drawbacks. The renovated rooms provided us with delightful mountain and forest views, although the common areas gave off a dated 1980s vibe, which was somewhat disappointing. Wireless connectivity proved to be a significant challenge, primarily limited to the lobby area since the primary wireless access wasn't working at all on our first day. The breakfast experience fell short of our 4-star expectations, leaving us somewhat disappointed, and it felt rather like a hostel breakfast. The presence of single-use plastics and granulated coffee further added to this dissapointment. On a positive note, the outdoor spaces exuded charm, adorned with lovely views and a nice patio. Regrettably, the seawater pool was disappointing due to its cleanliness issues. Nevertheless, this was offset by the hotel's beautiful beach. Adding to our concerns, the elevator emitted a lingering cigarette smell and exhibited occasional erratic behavior, raising safety questions and causing discomfort. In summary, our experience at Abamar Hotel was somewhat underwhelming. Improvements in wireless access, breakfast quality, and the addressing of issues like the outdated common areas and the elevator's condition are essential for elevating the overall guest experience.

Beautiful location & setting. Could be better signs as arriving at night very difficult too find. Outdoors superb but hotel abit dated. Friendly staff. Amazing beach front & views from room.

Ok Hotel, bad road to Hotel.

Just arrived back from a weeks holiday with 10 members of my family , this place is in need of an upgrade , it’s no way 4 star , more like 2 , it is clean and in a good location , that’s the good points , but the rooms are very basic , no tea/ coffee making facilities , and when I asked for a kettle I was told no by a very rude manager , who actually shouted at me , no mini bar as advertised , in fact your not even allowed to put your own drinks in the fridge or they will be confiscated , the breakfast is basic , the swimming pools were dirty especially the children’s pool , it had green slime all around the edge , the whole place felt unloved and uncared for which is a shame , most of the staff are lovely , but the manager is awful and very rude , this place is massively overpriced , there are much better places to stay in pula area

Hotel situato in ottima posizione, una vista spettacolare sul mare, pochi gradini e si è in spiaggia con ottimi servizi e prezzi onesti, il servizio dell' hotel è ottimo le ragazze della reception sempre sorridenti e disponibili, il servizio bar curato da un bravissimo barman, colazione giusta e gustosa, il ristorante alla sera oltre ad una vista incantevole e l'eleganza della location sono la cornice di un' ottima cena dall' antipasto al dolce...pulizia generale impeccabile Sig. Simone Giovanni Maspero

Non appena arrivati ci siamo resi conto che l’hotel non era in nessun modo come quello mostrato nelle foto. Struttura molto vecchia e MAI RISTRUTTURATA, sembra stia cadendo a pezzi. Per quanto riguarda il nostro soggiorno, ci é stata data una stanza per disabili (NON RICHIESTA ) con le varie scomodità annesse, la stanza era PIENA DI ZANZARE, sia vive che morte spiaccicate su muro, tende e soffitto ( mai pulite). Ma la COSA PEGGIORE sono stati gli asciugamani sporchi di macchie varie di cui è meglio non parlare. COLAZIONE PESSIMA poca scelta e prodotti di bassa qualità, tutto contornato dalle vespe che fanno banchetto insieme a te. Non illudetevi, il servizio in spiaggia è a pagamento e anche la presenza del campo da tennis non è gratuita ( 15€ il campo 5€ ogni racchetta). UNA FOLLIA!!! Risparmiate i vostri soldi e scegliete un’altra struttura.
