Surf City Inn & Suites

The front desk staff are very proactive, kind, and extremely responsive. Their customer service is outstanding. They went above and beyond to help me enjoy my stay. The hotel amenities are exactly what I was looking for. It’s a nice place to stay with the family because of updated kitchen and cleanliness.

It's a fine place to stay if you only need to sleep. The ground level can be noisy. We had people yelling right outside of door around 2am. Hearing someone scream "I'm going to kick your ass" isn't entertaining when it sounds like they're right outside your window. The room didn't feel very well ventilated. It felt damp, like it needed a dehumidifying fan. It's really close to the boardwalk, which is why we chose to stay there. It's not fancy but it works

Horrible experience, staff doesn't prepare your room at all before your arrival. When we checked in and opened the door, found a surprise with the pee stains on the toilet seat and dirty bathroom, so we had to ask them and wait 10-15 min before we can use the toilet after 3 hr trip to this place, also asked to change the bed sheets, because of stains and burnt spots on sheets. During the evening, had to kill a cockroach and couple of long bugs from sewer in shower. But the real nightmare was above us (we were in 116 room) on the second floor, we couldn't sleep all night due to couple of drunk ********** arguing and fighting with each other and guy came out and was sitting on staircase and yelling on the phone all night, hitting their door and trying to get inside. I couldn't even call frontdesk because the landline phone on night stand is not working at all. Very unsafe place. Hot tub is dirty with tons of flakes in water. Worst night and motel ever!

It was dirty, smelled like cigarettes, had damaged walls, just overall not well kept. And, the check-in. Is a person via video on a kiosk where the card reader for showing ID didn’t work. We had a complaint about the room & the kiosk person sent a message to the manager. We waited 10 minutes yet nobody came.

Staff were nice. Room was a little beaten, especially bathroom. Great location. Fair for the price. Towels had stains. Thin walls.

Very fast and easy check in and loved the inside pool and jacuzzi room was spacious and clean especially having a room with 3 queens!!!

Great service, with fast check in and out, no problem whatsoever! In a nice place and great price compared to surrounding hotels.

The location was great, walking distance to both downtown and the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be to add a bedside lamp.

Kind of loud, outside sounds as well as neighboring room noises. Tried to use the hot tub but there was a ton of people in the pool room most of the evening, pool room doesn’t require a key so anybody can just go in.
