The front desk is very strict. You must have a visa card to stay. At the restaurant at the door, I bought breakfast with breakfast. It used to mean breakfast deducted with $50. You can order it yourself. The restaurant is delicious The highlight is the pool, you will love the experience here....a large piece at hand. The pool is warm water. The hotel looks very well maintained. My room had a sofa and desk along with the king size bed. Big room for a hotel. The bathroom and sink area are alittle small, but very modern and tiled. The shower was excellent. The pool and jucuzzi were crystal clear and clean. Pretty big pool with a deep end of 8 ft. The location is about 8 minute drive to downtown, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. The area seems nice, don’t let the closed hotel next door scare you away.

A few friends and I stayed overnight at the Leta this past week and it was an incredible escape! It’s so beautiful, both the interior and exterior, and every staff member we interacted with was so kind! The feel of the hotel is so vintage and artistic, and there is no air of haughtiness or disdain that so many hotels can have. I cannot wait to do it again soon!!

There is a block across the beach, the room is relatively simple, the parking lot is on a piece of land on the side, and the room has shoes in other rooms on the first floor of the corridor. Surprise is the simple breakfast snack, the fruit has fresh strawberry and blueberry granules, the ice juice box, and the juice drink at the front desk is very good.

Beware of the concealed fees with this hotel. While staying in Santa Barbara, I decided to cut my stay short due to a “atmospheric river” event. Local news indicated that this was going to be a catastrophic event. When checking out, I was told that a one-day penalty fee would be assessed for a change in the length of stay. While a member of a World of Hyatt, I diligently check for penalties related to cancelation etc. Nothing was referred as to an early checkout. You would think that with an approaching catastrophic event, the hotel personnel would have a little compassion and flexibility as to waiving the hidden change penalty. Absolutely not was the hotel’s response. Common sense verses profit margin would be appreciated from this hotel.

We found this charming little hotel last minute as we were road-tripping through Santa Barbara. It’s a wonder that it wasn’t fully booked up in advance! Although not right on the water, it is only a five minute walk to the harbor. It has a couple of wonderful features. First, it is quiet and solidly built. Second, the internal long courtyard is filled with trees and plants - a lush botanical garden to enjoy. The staff is super friendly and there is a continental breakfast. We have taken many road trips during the COVID era; when other properties fall short, this place satisfies!

Hotel location is good, decoration style is a little fairy tale cottage feels very beautiful. Breakfast is paid for at the hotel, but there are free drinks and coffee in the lobby, which is fine. The room is a bit small and the air conditioning is a bit noisy

Facilities: There is no kettle in the room Hygiene: very clean Environment: very beautiful, SB environment is really nice and comfortable Service: The service is very nice. They will not offer toothbrush, toothpaste, water and slippers, but you can go to the front desk to ask for it

We stayed in room 308 (1 Bedroom Suite) the week of September 12, 2022. The hotel and room are in great condition. All of the employees that we had contact with were very nice. There was always lots of parking available in the hotel parking lot and it's very well lit. There isn't much in the immediate area of the hotel but it's perfectly safe and only a 15 minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara. However, the bathroom sink is in the bedroom. It's not actually inside the bathroom with the toilet and shower/tub. I personally really dislike this design because if one person is sleeping you can't use the bathroom sink without waking them up. But what's even worse about the design of the bathroom is that there isn't a single towel rack or hook anywhere near the bathroom sink or the toilet or the shower/tub or on either side of the bathroom door to hang a towel. In addition, I understand that the room that I'm assigned may not look exactly like the photos of the 1 Bedroom Suite on the hotel website but the front desk said that the 1 Bedroom Suite pictured on the hotel website (The bathroom sink is actually inside the bathroom with the toilet and the shower/tub. There are towel racks in the bathroom.) isn't available to anyone. In other words, none of the 1 Bedroom Suites actually look like the photos of the 1 Bedroom Suite on the hotel website. So we resorted to using the ”closet” rods as a towel rack for all of our bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths. We also took a square freestanding storage unit from the ”closet” area and placed it next to to the shower/tub to put our towels on so we can reach for them when getting out of the shower. This room is handicap accessible but that should have absolutely nothing to do with having towel racks or not. Everyone needs towel racks whether they're in a wheelchair or not. FYI the metal bars that you see in the photos that I posted are grab bars, not towel racks. I've stayed in hotels that don't have enough towel rack but I've never stayed in a hotel that doesn't have any towel racks at all. This seems like a major design flaw. Considering that we paid $366.00/night on average, this was extremely disappointing and inconvenient.

The room is large, the balcony has a sea view, breakfast service but charge, the hotel is warm, the building is Spanish style, the travel is very convenient, you can park, there is a bus at the door.
