I think this place has recently re-opened and been taken over. It’s a nice enough hotel, but unsure of how it considers itself a 4 star. The pool area is lovely - very clean, big pool, plenty of space and sun beds. The sun beds themselves aren’t very comfortable - but something you can get over. Few things the hotel needs to work on: - breakfast buffet - only runs from 8-10. Problematic for families with kids that are early risers, equally, if you arrive at 9:30, you feel rushed to take what you want before it gets cleared away. - no airport shuttle options - on the *********** website, it said there was a shuttle - there isn’t. There are plenty of shuttle services available on the island (transunion) - but they don’t seem to have signed up here yet. There is a public bus around 10 min walk away, but how long the journey takes changes. Taxi to airport expensive @ approx €100. - not a great deal surrounding the hotel itself - my mother has reduced mobility so we found ourselves having to get taxis to neighbouring Sa Coma / Cala Millor. (Although only around 5 euros per journey) - say they have an a la carte menu - advertise it, but they don’t. So Unable to eat at the hotel if you want to spend the day there. - we had to move rooms due to the air conditioning not working (it obviously hadn’t been checked before arrival) Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, bathroom is decent. I think give it a few months and this place will be fine, but a few basics that need sorting first.

We stayed at this hotel for one week in a Junior Suite as a celebration for our fortieth anniversary after looking at many reviews on this site as well as the photos on love holidays web site our agent. we arrived late at night in the dark, some food was supplied as we had missed our evening meal, this consisted of 1 x dry cheese sandwich, 1 x yoghurt, 1 x chocolate moose, 1 x apple (great!) And this was just the start! In the day light we could see the entire place while clean, is totally dated and was like travelling back to the 70s & 80s. There was not even a sign up with the name of the Hotel, anywhere on the building The pool grouting had large black areas in it, so would not use it! and there was only 1 pool not 2 as mentioned in the write up, the roof top terrace had no sunbeds, parasols etc as per pictures. The bar area looked like it had been gutted as there was just a few chairs around the bar and the rest of the room was completely empty. There was no lounge area to relax in. There is only one restaurant (underground), so you can not opt for an alternative to the buffet style. This was of a reasonable quality however like many other reviews on this site we found there was no proper labelling etc so we used our creativity to produce a 3 course meal as the labelling that there was, was in Spanish and German and the entire place seems geared towards German guests, with regards to information, there was no information pack etc in the room, or anywhere else. No complementary tea & coffee, no cups, spoon etc but there was a kettle and a small fridge. The bedroom and bathroom windows both opened on to the corridor so you can imagine!!! which had badly stained carpets, on the 2nd day our shower became blocked and was reported that morning, it took 2 days for it to be looked at after a reminder to reception, however it was still very poor and would fill the shower tray every time we had a shower. All of these issues spoilt our celebration So to summarise: Do not expect a 4 star Hotel experience as you will be disappointed, this is clearly not and should be a 2 star. Do not stay here if you are used to a 4 star standard, clearly the photos and description require updating on the websites!

Staff was very helpful and friendly, very pleasant outdoor space next to the pool with access to the bar for a good end to the day. Variable breakfast with lots of choice and adapted to different diets. Cleaning carried out every day, do not disturb sign was respected. Several bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

We stayed for for two weeks half board during September family of three . We opted for this hotel because it wasn’t geared towards younger children , and due to the positive reviews regarding the pool area , spacious rooms and food. Thankfully most tourists were couples of families with older children. The location is quite it takes 30 minutes to walk into Sa Coma at a slow steady pace, the nearest bar is within 15 minutes of the hotel (Delaynies Bar, )we don’t recommend this bar it’s dated run down, and basically a tourist trap purportedly offering the cheapest drinks in town , a Baileys cost 8 Euro and is smaller than a standard measure , the glasses are dirty the entire place needs refurbishing. We arrived at the hotel just before midnight check in was smooth , we were informed due to missing our meals a cold buffet had been placed in the fridge, when we entered the room we were disappointed to realise there wasn’t anything in the fridge, we were left three small bottles of water , no milk, tea bags or cups resulting in us having to go back to reception to ask for cups, milk teabags to enable us to make a drink. The rooms are spacious but dated, the sofa beds are not suitable for adults or older teenagers, hotel staff refused to accommodate our request for three single beds despite being informed I was due hip replacement surgery and as our son is in his late he is too old to sleep on a cot bed, the hotel wasn’t fully booked so no reason why hotel staff couldn’t accommodate our request. The air-Con in the room is antiquated and temperamental switching on/ off randomly, no mosquito nets on the doors, no full pool view unless you stand up ( we paid for a superior apartment) The pool area is fantastic lots of sun beds plenty for everyone, calm peaceful atmosphere and a great snack bar offering reasonably priced drinks and snacks- A large Coke costs 2.25 Euro, a large beer 3.5 Euro , cocktails are superb freshly made in a shaker , most cocktails cost 5Euro a pina colada costs 6 Euro . The drinks are cheaper than those found in the main resort and far superior in terms of volume and quality, buy a cocktail you won’t be disappointed. The animation team are lovely they kept our teenager entertained with aqua gym, darts, skittles, a special thanks to Gorka and Maria and the other girls. Brian and Miguel at the pool bar were also friendly and helpful making tasty snacks and drinkswith a smile, the guy with the grey hair at the main bar made fantastic cocktails and was always happy and helpful all staff are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast is great the hotel restaurant offers a wide choice of food which is good quality and cooked to a good standard, unfortunately I can’t say the same about food in the evening which is geared towards German guests , food labelling is also problematic again German tourists are prioritised all food was labelled in German making it difficult for us to determine what was on offer , we had a couple of shocks

Very friendly staff, very clean but unfortunately not the best location, especially if you don’t have a car. Swimming pool 10/10 The rooms are nice and clean but the beds aren’t that comfy, breakfast was good but the restaurant opens too late.

Breakfast was fantastic, with many options! Spacious room. Great pool. Kind staff. Free parking. Shower was not really good and the water tasted horrible. The extra bed (we were 3) was not very comfy.

I was traveling with my husband mother and our 10 month old son. We arrived at 10 pm for check in to be greeted by Albert in reception. Albert was very friendly, informative and helpful as to what we can do around the hotel and even what restaurants will be still open to eat at that very evening which was accurate. Throughout our stay all hotel staff, reception, pool, breakfast/restaurant, cleaning were very attentive, friendly and polite. Albert especially was very friendly and asking if the music was too loud for our son. Regularly in the morning at no fault to anyone when leaving our room on the corridor we would get stuck as we have a large pram. All cleaning staff happily came to assist us in helping to pass by. We never felt like a hindrance. Breakfast is good for choice for a weeks holiday. The outdoor pool area is great. No matter what time you go to the pool there was always sun loungers available. Also an additional rooftop for people to catch the last sun of the day. My mother took part in the pool gym session by the animation team and had a lot of fun. I would have joined in also had my son not been with us and asleep The only thing I have negative to say was the bathroom in our room was functional but I couldn’t adjust the shower head height at all and when I tried to do so the whole rod fell down. This meant water came outside the shower as water was difficult to control. By the look of the shower seal outside of the shower it was not the first time it happened. Also I feel the room just needs a refresh and repaint in some areas and new mirror in the bathroom as there was a few brown spots. We also didn’t use the wardrobes at all due to a musty smell in them. I think it probably due to the heat and no air con or air circulating because we arrived. Also you could hear everything the people in the next rooms were saying doing. The best part of the stay was the staff they were truly excellent. The management should have a look at making improvements where needed
