Sanibel Beach resort cleaned up nicely after the storm! The rooms feel super clean and well kept. The grounds are beautiful and maintained properly. We took our kids for spring break and we throughly enjoyed our time. The beach is clean, so many sea shells to look through and comfortable beach chairs provided. The pool is also clean and extra enjoyable with the pool bar. Traffic is a little crazy in the mornings and late afternoons so just plan your travel around all the workers coming and going. There is still a lot to be done in the area but overall the island is stunning. Would definitely stay here again.

Resort is nice and staff are very friendly. Rooms are old and small, but clean and I felt very safe on the property. Pool area, beach front and the cafe were all great. Good food selection for a quick bite. Location is fantastic and I would definitely stay again.

We were under the impression from the Adds that it was indeed a "resort" hotel, but actually it was just a mediocre motel. Tiny dark rooms with no operable windows. Breakfast was in plastic and paper from a counter and almost uneadable. We could not even get a bottle of water while it was advertised that you got 2 bottles per day! Beach was nice but very noisey with huge excavation work adjacent to the beach with constant trucks. For over $400 per night it was a huge rip-off.

Generally, it was fine with nothing particularly exceptional, especially considering the options on Sanibel are still pretty limited after Hurrican Ian. The beach access & chairs are good. More room & chairs by the pool would be nice. The Tiki bar was fine. The indoor restaurant/bar, which recently reopened, had limited dinner options but the food was excellent and the bar tenders were very friendly & helpful.

Unfortunately there was an issue to obtain a chair to sit at the beach. I asked for help as they were locked up and I was informed that I should call the office. I did but still got the run around. Eventually another couple came to the beach and went back to the office to complain and a guy came down and unlocked the chairs. Paying a resort fee per night, I should not have had to beg for a chair! The resort was new and clean but some staff could have been a little more helpful for the price you were paying.

Everyone was friendly. Room is typical hotel room. Surprised no housekeeping service. When checking out, I was told “you needed to request it” but that wasn’t made clear. Right on the gulf. Easy walk. Chairs provided and towels. Would have been great to have unpmbrellas available. Restaurant is now open. Tiki bar by pool was fine. Cheaper than staying at the only resort on Fort Myers beach by a lot! Traffic to/from Sanibel is horrible
