Large room and friendly staff.
When checking out it was raining and the concierge said I could get a complimentary ride to the train station 5 minutes away. Ordinarily, I would walk. On the way the driver twisted my arm for money to take me all the way to the airport. When that didn't work, he demanded payment to drop me at the train station.

Secure, convenient and an upmarket facility.
Cleaning needs to be supervised as there is to some extent lack of detail. The WiFi was very much up and down for two days.

I stayed at the Michelangelo for business and it was the perfect location and price. I attended a conference at the Sandton Convention Centre and the Michelangelo Towers was perfect for that. The two bedroom apartment was ideal for our visit.

Very nice environment good food and very welcoming members of staff. Would recommend to others. Proximity to all service providers safe and comfort in one place easily accessible and fast Wi-Fi would recommend to others

The service from the staff is excellent ... your uber orders are delievred straight to your door with no delay The valet car service is a definite win for me The rooms are fullt equipped for a family stay although we were a couple the executive room caters for adults fully equipped kitchen , dining area an lounge each of the 2 bathrooms is stocked with toiletries each room has its wn telivision , gowns and slippers The indoor pool with sauna is a treat ...and the gym facilituies far surpassed my expectations wonderful experience

I had a great stay in this hotel. It was located directly across from the Convention centre so very convenient. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The airline I flew with lost my luggage and the hotel staff worked tirelessly to locate it. It finally arrived. I don't think it would have been possible without their help.

Excellent service. Amazing rooms and hotel. Everything was top notch. Very family friendly and our kids loved the heated indoor pool since we stayed during winter. Loved the location - so close to Nelson Mandela Square and all the restaurants

Our home away from convenient. Easy access to shopping, convenient parking and most of all, with crime in South Africa on the up, very secure from a security point of view.

Very old and tired experience, feels like it’s starved of investment, everything is run down and tired. Place is a shadow of what it used to be, would be great to see someone getting the standards back to where they used to be and bring it back to being a flag ship property and icon.
