We save all of our points to have a 4 star stay in San Vito Lo Capo with our 3 year old son. When we arrived to the hotel, we checked in and went to our room. It was 28 degrees in there, We tried to turn the air on, and it did not work. We asked the front desk, and she said "I'll turn it off and turn it back on again, Then it should work." It didn't work at all. I couldn't sleep because it was so hot. The next day apparently there was a leak in the hotel. We had workers in and out of our room. Taking pieces of the room out and making it very hard for my 3 year old to nap. The next thing we know, they are telling us they need to shut down the water. We couldn't flush our toilet! Not only did we not have air conditioning in our room, we were given another room to go to, to use the bathroom. It was too small for the 3 of us to sleep in. However, it was 18 degrees. So clearly the air conditioning worked in some room, and some not. So They lied to us. And gave us a fan... When we complained, they did not offer to change our rooms, they only offered us a free dinner at our hotel. We already had reservations that night that we didn't want to cancel. He offered to pay our bar bill. We decided to take it up with the manager when we checked out. The next morning, we checked out and the person checking out, was going to charge us $125 for drinks at the bar and snacks! We said, uh no, we should not have to pay that! Ridiculous. They didn't offer to refund any money for our stay. Not even one night where we couldn't use our toilet! I should have listened to the reviews. So many bad ones. Not worth it. They take advantage of the fact that they are right on the beach. But honestly, I would have rather stayed across the street at a 3 star hotel. We would have a much better experience!
