Bon hôtel mais un peu éloigné de la ville et un peu trop près de la route. Évitez les chambres de première catégorie qui ne sont pas terrible par contre les chambres de catégorie supérieure sont formidables. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré. Le service est bon en général. En conclusion je recommande cet hôtel 😃😃🙂😃

O custo-benefício é excelente. Os quartos são amplos, limpos - a equipe volta no fim do dia e rearruma um pouco -, fica bem escuro à noite, tem uma ante-sala. Todo dia também eles deixam docinhos no quarto, um mimo fofo. A cama não era muito grande, mas era confortável. Me incomodou um pouco que meu quarto não tinha rede na ante-sala e na foto do booking tinha. O ambiente do hotel é muito bonito, bem verde, super bem cuidado. Muitas árvores e elas ficam com placas com os nomes das espécies, que também é fofo. A área do restaurante e do bar são bem bonitas. A piscina é bonita mas eu acho que o chão ao redor está com carinha de velho. Pelo menos assim me pareceu. Os funcionários são muito queridos, sorridentes e simpáticos. Super reconhecimento para Vanessa e Loreta, amores de pessoas! Tornaram nossa estadia mais especial. A comida do restaurante era boa mas não excelente. Alguns pratos muito bons, tipo a lasanha e o medalhão de lomito. Já o hambúrguer e a picanha não curtimos. A carne da picanha estava super dura. Os drinks do bar eram muito bons! O café da manhã é bom. Um detalhe fofo que gostei também são os livros que eles deixam pelo hotel e nós podemos pegar emprestados para ler. Recomendo!

I wanted to have a trip that would provide our kids (4 and 7) with a unique experience but also wanted to be in a comfortable location. The Ka'ana provided just what I was looking for. We stayed for a week, 2 days in a casita, and the remainder of our stay in the 2 bedroom villa. The casita was okay, but the villa was breathtaking. We enjoyed our private pool and patio area. There are a lot of bugs since you are in the middle of the jungle so it takes some getting used to. The doors in the rooms also aren't flush, so bugs get in through the cracks. Unfortunately 1 day we had a tarantula under the bed and another day we had a yellow scorpion by our bed. Without gaps around the doors, it would make it harder for animals to get in. We also went on 3 day trips while we were there, our tour guide Eddy was great. Our kids enjoyed the trips and he made them super kid friendly. He was able to explain things to them in a way they found fun and interesting. I would recommend staying here if you want to visit the Mayan ruins.

If you read other reviews this is a KNOWN issue. I would not recommend as they cannot provide a basic essential service such a running water.

This property isn't one of the fancier jungle lodges, but its proximity to the jungle adventures, ruins and San Ignacio are truly great. It's a small, relaxed place, but there is still a feeling of it being in the jungle despite it not being. The rooms are extremely spacious, well done and clean, as is the entire property. The beds and pillows are huge and very comfortable. We arranged massages and they were great. The pool is not the greatest, mostly because it doesn't have many chairs or the nicest furniture, but it's certainly an adequate one. The main 'house' has indoor/outdoor seating with a lovely deck and adjacent indoor bar. The staff was absolutely a joy. Julio at the front desk along with the others was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. And the food, drinks and wine...totally unexpected fresh, flavorful and creative. It was a 9+.

Ka'ana Resort was a beautiful, tropical resort. It was peaceful and you had the ability to have sports to yourself and your family or hang out near other guests at the pool or restaurant. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff, especially Julio, Sam, Cruz, and Jacqueline were super friendly, helpful, and professional.

The proximity to town and the attractions was perfect! The hotel restaurant, bar and the staff were awesome! The hotel grounds were well kept and created a feel of serenity.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING WITH THIS HOTEL. THEY DO NOT REFUND YOU ANY MONEY IF YOU HAVE TO MAKE AN AMENDMENT TO YOUR BOOKING. OUR TRAVEL OPERATOR MADE CHANGES TO OUR BOOKING LEAVING US NO CHOICE TO MODIFY OUR TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS. WE BOOKED VIA BOOĶING.COM WHO CONFIRMED WE WERE ENTITLED TO SOME (IF NOT ALL) OF OUR $500+ BACK. THE PROPERTY DID NOT REFUND US AND SHOWED ZERO GOODWILL. THEY HAD 4 WEEKS NOTICE TO FILL THIS BOOKING BUT DECIDED TO KEEP OUR MONEY.

Very comfortable beds and quiet rooms, loved the decor and AC was nice on a particularly hot day. Purified water was provided in rooms in am and again at turndown service along with a sweet treat. We would have loved to have coffee/tea option in room since we tend to be early risers. Service was fantastic, especially Cruz, Sam, and Julio. We loved the Mayan cooking class from scratch with sisters Clarita and Amrita. We also booked an excursion to Rio On, Big Rock and Rio Frio cave. Andee was our guide (self proclaimed "bird nerd" :) who showed us a fantastic local experience. Due to recent heavy rain we could not swim, so we made a special stop at Oxmul coffee farm which was great. Be sure to also take a walk to the onsite organic garden, lots of birds there in the morning. We thought onsite restaurant was good and we had continental breakfast included in price by booking directly. Cocktails were outstanding. Only downsides were location right on highway which was under construction, lack of in room coffee and higher price point.
