The location and the surroundings were the only positive. The host ( Stefano) didn’t do any of the requests that were agreed upon before the trip. The rooms were extremely cold as the heating was not put on, even though we had asked several times for this basic thing. The standard of the rooms was subpar, old furniture that has not been properly cleaned before our arrival. The worst part was the food, breakfast consisted of cheap ham, cheese and cold eggs. We paid extra for better breakfast so this was very dissappointing. The dinner dish was pasta that was completely dry with barely any sauce. We cancelled dinner&breakfast after the second day and yet the host tried to charge us for the whole duration regardless . On top of everything, the host brought someone to our PRIVATE birthday party that he was not invited to and proceeded to introduce her as “easy going and open minded” basically soliciting her to our male guests. So if people want to enjoy the real tuscan vibe, definitely avoid this place.

Poorly maintained and rundown all around- both the apartment and the pool area. Said it had air conditioning, but it didn’t work the first night. The house also had an uncomfortable smell. After maintenance had a look at the air conditioning the next day, it worked mildly better, but the noise was horrendous. The showerhead holder was broken, there were cobwebs and dusting in the bedroom from some kind of spraying of pests, and the overall experience was not as you would expect, given the pricetag. The pool was clean, but the lining was loose in all the corners, like it was coming apart. The sun beds were broken, uncomfortable and dirty. The last 2km of the road to the agritourismo is a dirt road with holes and steep slopes, so be prepared. We will not be coming back- you get better value for money elsewhere in the area.
