Ah Porticcioli Boutique Apartments

Outstanding. Beautiful apar**ent, great views right on the lake, food is very good. Parking is adequate. All of the staff were friendly. Nothing at all to complain about. About a half hour walk into Salo. Best place we stayed in on the trip (of 10 hotels).

Fantastic stay, beautiful hotel and the rooftop pool and bar area are amazing...we spent all of our time up there. We had a 2 bedroom lake view apar**ent which was very comfortable, had all amenities we needed and a stunning view of the lake. Only slight drawback was that the balcony itself was not as clean as we would have expected.

We had a wonderful time at Ah Porticcioli during the holiday season. We enjoyed a first-class dinner for the New Year’s Eve right at the hotel’s restaurant. The views with the fireworks, the live music, and the delicious food made our New Year 2023 celebration excellent. The landscape on the Garda lake from the panoramic room leaves anyone speechless. Highly recommended. The hotel and service deserves all its paid money.

We had a panoramic suite with a gorgeous lake view. Apar**ent was beautiful - very modern with full kitchen facilities, a very comfortable bedroom, bathroom with rain shower and plenty of storage. Reception were very helpful although they are not there 24/7 You can have the buffet breakfast for 17 euros each or you can just order croissants etc to be brought to your room - you just need to make a choice the day before and let reception know. Unless you are going to buy your own items for breakfast, you will need to do this as there is nothing else within walking distance You are right on the lake and there is a dock area to get access to the water if you want to swim. There is also an on site restaurant which serves very sophisticated food and we had a lovely lunch there one day. The only downside, is there is literally nothing around here so you will need a car to explore but there is free parking on site. There was a restaurant at the bottom of the road that would probably be a 15-20 minute walk away but the weather was not really pleasant enough for us to do this during our stay This is a beautiful place and we loved it here - very comfortable and relaxing and an ideal base to explore the area if you have your own wheels

Amazing place! The hotel is right on the lake, the view from the room is stunning. The apar**ent itself is very well equipped and has everything you need. They thought about every small detail you need for a comfort and great vacation. The staff is really helpful and kind, and Rachele from the desk who helped and gave very good advices, as well supported with everything we needed (including medical help!) I highly recommend this hotel! We cannot wait to get back again. Do not hesitate!

Check in was easy and very polite. English is spoken. On entering the suite the view is breathtaking of the lake, the town of Salo and the mountains in the background. Plenty of storage space. Comfortable bedroom and sitting room. Large balcony with comfy chairs and table. Very good shower with soft towels. Good air conditioning. Two good TVs. No BritishTV channels but France 24 covered the Queen’s death very well. Nicely equipped galley kitchen with dishwasher. Tea towel and dishwasher tablets provided. Large fridge. Pool towels and hairdryer. The rooftop pool was beautiful and never very busy. The pool bar did meals ,snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. Breakfast was in the restaurant on the ground floor overlooking the lake . The International choice was a feast. It was also an excellent restaurant in the evening. My personal feeling is that you need a car unless you are a serious walker. There is plenty of parking and under normal traffic it is one hour from Verona. There are lots of lovely restaurants but most are 10 minutes away by car. The location is peaceful.

Hotel was very nice ,better then the pictures I’ve seen online. Very clean and staff very friendly , anything that we have requested was no problem for them. The view from the apar**ent 201/202 and the pool view was breathtaking. The restaurant was not open for our stay ,maybe due to Covid-19, but they have organise breakfast from a bakery close by delivered to our door every morning at 9am. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious. I would definitely go again
