We stayed here because we are renovating my house in the area. We had gutted the only bathroom so we stayed at this hotel. When we made a trip to home depot to pick up some things around 4 pm, we decided to stop and check in to get the keys so we would have them later as we got 2 different rooms and would be going back to the hotel at different times. We never went in or checked the rooms after getting the keys, my mistake. When I arrived back at the hotel it was midnight, I gathered all my things (I had a handful) I proceeded to go to my room. When I walked in, it hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests! The king size bed was a mess, towels on the floor, etc. So I went to the front desk and told the clerk in which he didn't seem to really care. He said they had no other rooms with a king size bed in which I had booked, instead I got a room with two doubles in which was mediocre in cleanliness. The air vents were filthy and had never been dusted, hair stuck to the wall above the shower, food or stains on the wall, etc. Just really gross! I took it because I was tired, we had been working and painting etc. all day and I just wanted to shower and go to sleep. The next morning upon checkout I told the clerk who had checked us in the day before about the incident. She apologized said they just assume that their housekeepers are doing their jobs. But then did nothing for us, but offer to do something next time if I see her. What kind of response is that, there WONT be a next time at this facility. No discount on the room, no added points, etc. for my inconvenience for their failure to do their jobs. I am a Elite Platinum rewards member and use Choice hotels regularly. I am very disappointed. This was not up to their standards and the service and attitude of it's employees sucked to say the least.

Thier place meet all my expectations and now. Great location. Staff friendly. Breakfast provided. Clean appearance. Room were sanitized and clean. I will stay here again. Everything about it was great.

I stayed in room 2023 for 3 weeks and I constantly had some issue or another. The cable was the worst. After 7:30pm the cable started acting up and could not watch any tv until the next day. Constantly reported it and they changed out the box one time; then part of the issue was the room that housed all computer and ac equipment overheated; then I was told to leave the dresser draw out because the box was hidden so it could breathe. They did suggest to move me to another room but it was on the the 3rd fl and I already had medical issues with the stairs. Flooring was not completed; did not have all kitchen equipment and had to ask 4 times. Vent in bathroom was hanging off the wall and I reported that; roach feces was in the cubby holes where towels went and ac vent was torn and had mold until I cleaned it. When they did come to clean room they never cleaned the toilet which eventually had mold. There is no management or maintenance or security after 8pm and someone pulled the fire alarm one night and management never showed just said it was a prank when I called!! Very disappointed. Did call the main company and for the first issue I had I was compted 2 days. Should be compted more at this point.

There was nothing that we liked about this property including its run down condition bordering on the macabre such as a broken door frame next to the door lock, dirty and defaced walls, lack of even a single chair and multiple cockroaches. Management is notoriously incompetent and rude, front desk lady kept insisting that our room had a King sized bed while our reservation was for a queen sized one and therefore we should move to another room when in fact it had a queen sized bed. Why were we assigned to such a room in the first place? Manager verified for himself when he knocked on our door and saw that we had a queen sized bed... not to mention breaking his own promise that our 2 reservations would be handled seamlessly by letting us stay in the same room for the duration of our stay. Constant harassment by a presumptuous front desk lady bent on making a bad situation even worse rather than making a bad situation better. I wouldn’t touch the water in the pool with a ten foot pole let alone swim in it. One gets the feeling that the neighborhood is dangerous with loud music blaring from cars parked in the parking lot, people speaking loudly and occasional loud booming noises that sounded like gun shots (were they?). OMG what did we get ourselves into? Apparently this used to be a Motel 6. Half the hotel still seems abandoned or unoccupied with the Motel 6 sign still looming large overhead. Hmm I wonder why this hotel is no longer Motel 6. Avoid at all costs!
