The room was very clean, and had everything we needed. The price was good. The location was easy access to the freeway and very close to downtown. Breakfast was offered.

My stay at this location was going well… Until I found a roach in my room. I had already stayed a few nights, And I ended up getting DoorDash for dinner. I had some food in a brown paper sack on the counter overnight I believe the smell of the food lured the roach out of the wall. I called the front desk and they said they would call the exterminator. That was the extent of their response. I left the smash bug on a piece of paper in the room for them to see. I ended up checking out one day early and finding another place to stay because of this.

We stayed here on a Saturday night and made the reservation that morning. It cost around $320 or $330 for the night. The room was fairly large. There was the main room with 2 double beds and another room (open floor plan) with a sofa bed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. In the morning, they had a nice breakfast with various options. The hotel is fairly close to the Riverwalk and The Alamo. It cost around $10 to Uber to the Riverwalk, and around $15 to return (excluding tip).

Excellent valet service from Angelo, love the hotel! The rooms were clean and I certainly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the morning, I would like a better view next time. Valet was fast and thankfully there were no damages dome to my vehicle.

Hampton Inn downtown/Market square bears its years and certainly could do with some maintenance, refurbishment, and facelift, but overall, I believe everything sits on the bearable side of the balance. The pros, certainly its location, within –considerable– walking distance from downtown and all its attractions and businesses; price, which can skyrocket disproportionately when the town gets busy, but when booked in anticipation saves you quite some money; and staff (but housekeeping), who –I believe– are well aware of the property’s deficiencies and still try to make the best with what they have. Though I read reviews highlighting this hotel’s bad surroundings, I did not see homelessness nor felt insecure; I even did some late food runs to the HEB without any worry. The cons, of course, the building itself. It’s hard to hide –and list– all the imperfections you’ll encounter throughout your stay, however, keep in mind that worn out does not mean filthy. Carpets are dingy, furniture has seen better days, the in-room fridge buzzed annoyingly through the night, and the shower hanger was broken, making showering a bit of a challenge. When it comes to style and charm, well, let’s better not walk down that path. Regarding housekeeping, it was strangely “fortunate” that they knocked at my door 5 minutes after my arriving to the room regardless of the time in the afternoon, forcing me to request them to come back later, which of course, they did not do. The neutrals, sometimes left off of the reviews but this time worth mentioning, were the bed, comfortable; the linens and pillows, beyond decent; the gym, clean and well taken care of; the parking, which was 10USD/night but, because of the location and the fully booked dates, thought would be more expensive; and noise insulation, which helped me with a good night’s sleep even with a thunderstorm going on through the night.

This price is in this location in the city and is very close to our convention center. 10 minutes, 5 minutes from the shopping center, convenient to eat, the hotel is good value for money

Business travel alone is also possible. The city is not large, but there are many hotels. The Downtown area is also more selective and safe. If you are not afraid of 1-2 homeless people under the overpass opposite the hotel, they will not be close. You just don't feel well. The health status of the hotel is medium to low, so don't test yourself for allergies. There is no breakfast, only coffee, and there is a microwave in the lobby. Because there is no refrigerator in the room, the food is basically outside. RiverWalk and the conference center are only 15 minutes walk away. If you are staying for a while, it is recommended to stay in a comfortable hotel. It is recommended to rent a car for parent-child activities, but the car can be parked in a nearby parking lot.

Hotel location is very good, although the room is a little small, but value for money, including breakfast, the price is also very good, like breakfast with fresh apples and bananas, hot tea coffee during the day, small daisy tea at night, can Said to be very intimate. The hot water is very strong, the bed is very comfortable, I was worried that it would be a tide before, and the result is not, sleep well! Overall, the waiters are very polite and enthusiastic

I went to the Marriott Hotel because I had a conference, and it was nice and closer than I thought. However, the fitness center facilities were a bit disappointing. The breakfast in the morning is not that great, just enough to fill your stomach. The desk people were really nice
