WoodSpring Suites San Antonio Utsa - Medical Center

To whom it may concern, I have been staying with you guys since the beginning of December. I have constantly been complaining about the noise above room 214, which I stay in. I have made repeated requests to get it resolved from the front desk I have called down at least four times over the past two weeks during the day and night. I let it slide during the day because it's housekeeping, but at night after 10:00 p.m. there is no excuse. I should not be able to hear people walking around with cinder blocks on their feet, dragging chairs, and banging on the floor. As a night auditor myself, I would have to say that your front desk people need some retraining. They are afraid to leave that front desk to go up to a room to tell them to shut up! Their job is to make sure that people have a good stay, and a good night's rest. You have failed on all of these aspects. I understand that this is a franchise but corporate needs to get involved in this! I am so upset right now due to the fact that I came down here for my wife who is in training with the Navy. I myself am an Air Force veteran so veteran to veteran this is BS(to the owner) You need to fix this noise issue, whether it's moving me to the 4th floor or whatever! The only reason I was placed on the second floor was because Post Malone told me that the internet was the best there, which come to find out is another lie. Whether you pay for it or not it shuts off after 1 GB, and has to reset. There's no ability to actually watch a Netflix video over a tablet while you're in your room. This has continually been going on for the past month. I have received every excuse from, oh we're going to call them now to, oh you must have heard someone they're moving out don't worry. It won't be an issue tonight. It's all a lie. I would really like for one of your owners to have to come and stay a night in their own hotel, and then give a adequate rating on what they experienced, because I guarantee it wouldn't push over two stars. I would really like to hear from you with either a resolution to these issues, or at least some sort of apology for lying and not providing the services that you stated in the handout that you made all of us sign. WoodSpring Suites has exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness, spacious rooms and attentive staff, especially Mike, Alex and Andrew. I highly recommend it for a comfortable and enjoyable stay anytime.

The staff is amazing. Alex at the front desk was very helpful. They keep the place spotless all day. Rooms and halls stay clean. Coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby is a plus too. Definitely recommend!!!

The rooms are awesome the staff makes you feel like family we've been here more than 30 days and it has been fabulous I cannot say much more better things about this hotel would smooth and UTSA is the best hotel to stay at

Located in a good area, close to Walmart, HEB and some food options. The staff is very friendly and keep the place looking and smelling great at all times. They’re also pet friendly and have a couple stations to get bags to clean up after your dogs.

At WoodSpring Suites, the staff, specifically Bubba, Alex and Michael have consistently been accommodating and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. Their excellent service has undoubtedly enhanced my overall satisfaction. Five stars!

11/04/2023 --- If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay during your visit to San Antonio, I highly recommend WoodSpring Suites San Antonio UTSA - Medical Center for the following reasons: 1. This property is one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are very well maintained and the housekeeping staff are amazing at keeping the rooms spotless. The hallways and hallway floors are also the cleanest I have ever seen. The lobby area is very comfortable and I frequently see families get together there or just use the area to have a quiet place to work or relax. 2. There is plenty of places well within walking distance to dine out in, whether you are in the mood for something quick or if you are in the mood for a nice dinner and want to be waited on.  3. If you are needing groceries or general household items there are two great and well-known stores also within walking distance. I often see students from the university near here take a local transit bus that will drop them off right in front of both shopping locations to do their weekly shopping.  4. The hotel is tucked away on a hill that has proven to be so incredibly QUIET. The interstate highway is less than a quarter mile away but there is never any noise carried from its heavy traffic to the hotel location.  5. The attentive staff and key-card required entryways provide for a very safe environment. There doesn't seem to be any security issues.  6. If you are travelling with a pet canine, this place is dog-friendly so you won't have to leave the pooch at home! AGAIN, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH SELECTING THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS WHILE IN SAN ANTONIO!

Relocating for work, I decided to stay here based on proximity. I've been here a week and was originally planning on this being a short term stay, as I was looking into area apartment living accommodations. I have to say, this is a much more cost efficient choice. My suite feels incredibly new and very clean. The staff is so helpful and courteous. The cleaning staff and maintenance exhibit a sincere commitment to keeping this "home" safe and clean. Even the stairwells are swept and mopped on a regular basis. I have yet to see any disappointing concerns. Thank you for a wonderful and comforting stay.

My husband and I flew in for the weekend to view the eclipse and just wanted an expensive, but nice place to stay. This was perfect! The price was awesome compared to another nearby hotel which was twice as high. The rooms were very clean and service was friendly. Christobal at the front desk was amazing!! We will definitely be back in 6 months for the next eclipse April 8th!!
