From check-in to check-out this was the best hotel experience we have had in the U.S. The uniqueness of the hotel is almost enough to make it extraordinary but the staff was amazing at every level, every detail is considered and very well appointed for any possible desire.

This is an exceptional hotel, both in terms of architecture and design, location (the Pearl district), dining options, and convenience. However, what stands out most is the quality of the staff. They are well-trained, attentive (without being in your face all the time like the Ritz Carlton folks), genuinely interested in your well-being, and efficient in getting things done. This is one of my favorite hotels in the states. If you are going to San Antonio, you should do your best to stay here. .

Hotel Emma is very special. The design is top notch, the staff is the best I’ve encountered and the restaurant is 10/10! I love to stay in one place where I can have excellent meals and sleep well in a nicely designed space and this hit all the marks!

The lobby/bar had such a cool vibe it might be my favorite in the whole country. Staff was awesome, lots of cool options in walking distance, and right next to the river.

The biggest thing I will take from this stay is that we had recently been experiencing back problems. Staying at your hotel helped us recognize that our mattress needs to be updated. We woke up at your hotel with no back pain! :) The mattress was extremely cozy. Thank you to the staff for being so attentive!

We have been staying at Hotel Emma for the last two years and can’t recommend it enough. We travel all over the world and Hotel Emma is world class in experience and service. We love it so much that we chose it for our wedding venue later this year. You will love this hotel!

Latest of many stays at this usually outstanding property. Despite a reservation made several months in advance and an arrival time the hotel staff asked for earlier in the week of arrival, we were unable to secure our room for more than an hour after attempting to check in. The reception clerk was pleasant and clearly wanted to assist, and offered a $60 food and beverage credit ( which wasn’t given as of the final bill) but was unable to give us the room we had reserved. After the hour wait, and still no room, I complained rather forcefully, and another clerk located an accessible room with the configuration we had reserved. A rare misstep for Emma, but when one pays over $700 per night, it isn’t acceptable. The stay was otherwise uneventful.

Great hotel, nice staff, superb location. Dined at Super for lunch/breakfast (twice) and dinner. Cocktails at bar. Used gym. All services and staff were excellent, will be back.
