This is the second time staying at The Pear Tree. We had 2 rooms. One of the rooms on this 2nd visit, room 218 smelled of urine. The bathroom in my, room 318 wasn't the cleanest. The staff has always been nice. Especially Michael. Breakfast is decent but definitely room for improvement.

We checked in late, front desk clerk was very polite and attentive to my questions. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, the only complaint I have was the bathroom was super small. It felt like I was in a airplane bathroom. We really enjoyed the breakfast, food was delicious and loved the soda machine.

This hotel was exceptional. The bed was comfortable, the room was really clean, and the person at the front desk was really nice. I asked for an extra blanket and they put it in our room before we got to our room. We will stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was very welcoming and clean. Our room was free of any damage or defects. The highlight was the free drinks and chips between 5:30 and 7:30pm. Nice touch. Will book this place again.

Hidden secret if you’re visiting San Antonio. 7 miles from the river walk and all kinds of restaurants and stores within just 2 or 3 miles. Includes breakfast and wine/snacks (at 5:30 pm), complimentary business center with PC’s to print out docs (which turned out to be a lifesaver), really nice staff, large rooms, good firm beds, cleaned rooms every day, free parking, quiet area, etc.. I have traveled a lot for work and personal and this hotel fit the bill for all the amenities we needed. I am sure there are nicer hotels with more elegant decor, etc, but we stayed six days and did a lot of site seeing so this this hotel was perfect for us and was a great value for the price.
