This hotel is in a very good location right across the street from the River center Mall and Alamo. The hotel staff are very kind and friendly. The only drawback is it’s a little pricey and the fire alarm got accidentally turned on at 7 AM our first morning. The hotel has free coffee, water and tea in your room. There’s also a mini fridge in the room.

Great possibility to stay for a short or long stay. A little walk from the nearest tram stop, but easy to get to. Rooms are clean and fuctional

Very convenient to Alamo and Riverwalk area. The hotel is nice and they have a good restaurant on site.

Everything was great. Fantastic staff and front desk. The tavern is a great option with good staff and pricing. The atmosphere also was good and very walkable. The only issue I had was that the room was shut cold and the ac couldn’t get it as warm as I was hoping.

The bath in room was moldy and had been refinished and the finish was peeling from tub. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Will not stay again.

.The staff was very friendly, the hotel had a lot of charm. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room and bathroom are on the smallish side, but well done. Ours overlooked the Alamo. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and plan to go back. It was nice to park our one ton truck and walk everywhere. Very walkable to the Alamo and River Walk. Loved our stay. The only negative would be it cost $45 for valet parking, but again it was nice to leave the truck there.

Property was wonderful and filled with historical context that was fun to explore. The Staff was top notch as well.
The only issue was the parking... they only provide "valet parking" (no self park) at $45 per night. The only options for overnight parking was a couple blocks away at the Convention Center Garage (across from the Convention Center). There were 3 other parking lots/garages next to the hotel, but NONE of them were for "overnight parking, (only up to 6 hours, maxing out at $40), so they were not an option. After one night of paying $45, I moved my car to the convention center parking for $10 a day/night (with 24 hour security!) The hotel did offer $25 day parking, but I was there 3 nights, so that was not a help for me. Feels like they should offer a self-park / overnight at the hotel for reduced amount.
