Hotel muito simples e rústico. Atenção e educação dos funcionários excelentes. Localizacao 10 min do centro histórico.

Recepção do hotel pouco solidários com hóspedes que não falam a língua. Quarto limpo, porem minusculo, sem lugar para bagagem. Risco de queda ao subir na banheira para usar o chuveiro, não há nenhuma barra de apoio. Bom café da manhã e ambiente agradável.

Great location! About 10 min walk to main train station. Room was large, clean, comfortable, for our family of four. Great restaurant on site, also another sister property down the street w nice restaurant Pitterkeller. We enjoyed the stay and friendly service. Hotel helped us buy tickets for the Sound of Music tour which was amazing!

We stayed here with our children and really liked the room set up. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were super helpful. The hotel is located about halfway between the train station and the old town, so it is convenient to walk to either. It might be more walking then some would like to the altstadt, (about 15 minutes or so) so if walking is a challenge, then a location closer within the altstadt might be a better choice.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Imlauer Hotel. Very close to the historic center of Salzburg. The room was impeccably clean and in good taste. The added bonus is their wonderful restaurant that is attached to the hotel.

Decent room, only major complaint is that air conditioning underperformed. We don't expect North American ultra-cool temps -- for us, we can sleep comfortably at 23-24C. The AC system was clearly working (cool air at vent) but insufficient to get our room below 26C at bedtime (it was 24C when we woke up) with outdoor temps in the 25-28C range during the day and around 18C at night. So I would say this hotel is perfectly good except during hot summer days.
