Hotel d'Angleterre, Salon-De-Provence

Run down. No bar, poor breakfast, no hit options. Took until the occupation of a third room to find one that the heating worked. It's common areas haven't been looked after for decades. The bed was comfortable to be fair, it was quiet but due to it being largely empty. A time warp of a lowly bed and breakfast level. Avoid.

I visited the hotel for Two brief nights (arrived late Thursday night and had to leave at 5AM Saturday morning for return flights). The hotel seems to have had a slight makeover from the last pictures posted. It has a modern vibe and is very clean. Upon arrival, the young lady manning the desk over night had her young boyfriend accompanying her dressed in his finest sports vest and was extremely rude taking about me as I walked in the hotel and laughing presumably at the stupid Englishman!! The hotel back steps are still quite dilapidated but the new owner (I presume) is making an effort to spruce things up. The room I stayed in (26) top fo the shop was newly decorated, immaculate and o could not find fault at all with the place. Towels were provided for two guests but no shower gel or soap which was a bit of a let down as I was travelling light. The downstairs bar has been updated and generally the place is very nice. In contrast to me arrival, the staff on shift when I left were extremely polite and helpful and the young guy (seemed to be in charge) made me a coffee at 4AM and said if I needed anything it would not be any trouble. I would recommend a stay if you are in the area but maybe make sure you are allocated a new room.

Firstly, and let me make this clear, the members of staff we dealt with were great. really helpful and polite. We did overhear one of them wish his colleagues 'courage' as he clocked off. Suspect the owners were at fault here. So, first room we were shown to was tiny and the AC unit had been removed. Bear in mind that the temp was about 36 degrees during the day. I asked for another room and luckily there was one left. The AC didn't work there either despite the valiant attempts of the Night Manager. At breakfast, no milk for coffee nor for cereal. No milk in the entire hotel apparently, and no one seemed bothered. STAY AWAY!

Chambre est propre, très agréable, moderne et fonctionnelle. l'hôtel est calme. Le petit déjeuner est varié et propose à la fois du salé jambon, œufs et du sucré, croissants, pain, céréales, yaourt, fruits..... Il est très bien situé, en plein de centre de Salon, tout est accessible à pied.

Chambre parfaite, bonne liteterie, propre, personnel très agréable juste la sdb un peu vieillotte mais très propre. L hôtel se situe en plein centre-ville donc très pratique. Il y a un parking payant à 5mn à pied mais pas onéreux du tout

A pochi minuti dalle grandi città si arriva in questo paesino delizioso. La Posizione dell'hotel è strategica, l'accoglienza è stata super, la camera grande e confortevole. Unico neo che molto era chiuso in citta di domenica.

Mon séjour s'est très bien déroulé, l'accueil a été excellent (même à 2 heures du matin lorsque nous sommes arrivés). Le personnel était très gentil et attentionné, la chambre très propre, il y avait tout le nécessaire pour passer une bonne nuit. Je vous remercie et je recommande à 1000%.

L’accueil est sympathique et professionnel. L’emplacement de l’etablissement est ideal, en plein centre ville. Il y a un parking à proximité mais attention de ne pas s’y garer la veille des jours de marché. La literie est confortable.
