We stayed here for a full week in October. Steve and Kay were good hosts and helped us navigate the Salisbury area. The breakfast was superb. There were choices and all of them we tried were good. We had a room in the front of the house and there was no problem with road noise.

We had a lovely stay at Taylor’s Guest House this weekend. Kay and Steve are perfect hosts. Having stayed several times over the last few years we would never consider staying anywhere else. We were warmly welcomed and our room was so comfortable and clean.

Steve and Kay were excellent hosts sending clear instructions prior to arrival on gaining access and attentive during my stay. The guest house is located a little way out of the centre with on street parking on a fairly busy road. However, there was no problem finding a space. The room was very well presented, clean and comfortable with tea/coffee making and a wall mounted Tv. The en-suite bathroom, while small, was functional, modern an clean. The highlight was the breakfast where a good spread of cereal, fruit and cooked breakfast available. The latter ordered the night before was freshly cooked and top notch. I will definitely return again and much more personable service than a chain hotel and excellent value for money.

After a gap of 3 or 4 years we have just returned from another short break with Kay and Steve. Everything was perfect with the very welcome addition of a fan in the bedroom (the 2022 July heatwave!). The breakfasts were delicious and our veggie/fish eating diets were well catered for with a range of offerings including smoked salmon and scrambled eggs - a real treat. Salisbury is lovely in its own right but is also a great centre, especially for those with no car (like us). Particularly recommended is the bus trip to Shaftesbury which takes you through beautiful countryside and several delightful villages all of which have thatched cottages. Bournemouth is also readily accessible by a regular (half hourly) bus service with views of the New forest along the way. All in all, highly recommended.

Perfect hosts, so friendly. Lovely room, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Very close to city centre, good bus link. A brilliant stay. Would definitely recommend. Perfect guest house, one of the best we've stayed at.

We stayed with Steve and Kay at Taylors Guest House as a base from which to explore Salisbury and visit Stonehenge. Our planned 2 nights were unexpectedly cut short for medical reasons so, reluctantly, we only stayed a single night. Steve and Kay were very kind and understanding about the situation. What we did learn from our single night is that Taylors is clean, comfortable, secure and well located. Kay kindly explained how the buses operated and we used them for return travel into Salisbury city centre with the bus stops located conveniently right outside the Guest House. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I’m especially sorry to have missed the opportunity to try another of the locally produced tasty jams on offer. Taylors Guest House was perfect for what we had intended and can highly recommend it as the place to stay to anyone with similar objectives.
