“The Gate” is the best mountain lodge in East Lombok. Located in Bawak Nao village Sembalun at the foot of Rinjani mountain ( Beside the gate to climb Mt Rinjani ). It takes only a 2-hours drive from Lombok International Airport. The atmosphere is fantastic, with clean air, mount Rinjani sceneries, and a well-maintained environment. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The facilities are in very good conditions as well. Located at a height of 1000 meters above sea level, 5 minutes walking distance to the Rinjani gate the start point climb to Mount Rinjani, and 7 hours walking normal time to Mt Rinjani Basecamp or Plawangan Sembalun. Only 5 minutes drive to the center of Sembalun and 15 minutes walking time to the gate of Pergasingan Hill Sembalun.
