We have been going to the Don CeSar for 15 years. We like to refer to this as “our place“. We absolutely love it. The beach is not crowded and the beauty of the Pink Palace is unmatched. We have noticed over the years that some things have changed for the better, and some things for the worse, but overall, the  integrity of the Don has remained intact. Highly recommend!

The Don was fabulous for NYE! While the resort was fully booked, it never felt crowded. The beach and pool accommodations are lovely.
I had a massage at the spa which was also great.

A little disappointed with the interior design and furnishings, considering it is a historic hotel. Also, no tub, and no jacuzzi by the pools. Overall, a nice stay and good hotel, but not exactly what we were expecting.

Poor in many ways. Toilet paper was like tissue paper. Awful small bathrooms no grab bars. Very poor food and selection of food Beach and pool great. Bathroom at pool only cold water no not water. And door stuck had to kick bottom to get out of the bathroom and sign said so ! Ridiculous . Very expensive. For what you got. Positive. Great staff throughout. Friendly helpful. Very disappointed overall. Also were told when we arrived “ concierge won’t be here till after 530 pm tomorrow. “ Sad for an “ elite “ hotel. Would never recommend

When I was younger we spent a lot of time in St Pete’s and Madeira Beach. I had thought at the age of 16 if I was ever to stay at the Don Cesar it meant I made it 😆. At 50 We recently stayed there and it was stunning. Will be back for sure.

Loved everything except the price! Beautiful well kept property, fabulous staff, easy parking. But everything comes with a price. We paid more to park than we did for the car rental. Restaurants are good but limited options especially for poolside. Again you have to pay for quality, but $10 for oatmeal?

Purchased a junior suite and the room smelled like mildew and had stains in the carpet. I have stayed at the here a few times and this was not the best overall experience

This beautiful Pink Palace lives up to its name. Grandiose, Beautiful palace full of history!! Sad how they got rid of the Fountains, they were part of the romanticism...The staff was amazing! Especially Ms. Sandy...She's been in the facility for 28 years and was very helpful in answering our questions. My only complaint was the toilet, my husband is 6'2" and it was interesting to attempt to use it so close to shower door (not sure about other rooms but the first floor room we were in).We are definitely going back with the kids.
