Room, location and staff all very good Breakfast was a disappointment Not what you expect from a Michelin star kitchen Simple with very little choice After eating our breakfast we heard other tables being offered scrambled eggs which had not been offered to us . Not a good breakfast experience for the price we paid !

A very charming and nice hotel in the center of Saint Emilion, and the set meny of seven courses was one of the best I ever have eat. The staff was friendly, breakfast small but superb and everything was memorable. Magical!!!

Due to ongoing renovations at Le Logis de la Cadene, we were upgraded to a suite at Maison de la Cadene, and we were spoiled! The views of the King's Tower and the Bell Tower were absolutely phenomenal from our room. The room itself was lovingly cared for, and the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. We look forward to returning to Le Logis de la Cadene for another wonderful stay!

Just perfect! Our room was absolutely perfect - not just the bedroom but the adjoining sitting room with views over the town. Just fantastic. Dinner was sublime endless courses to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I cannot describe how amazing our dinner was.

Stayed one night, lovely French country ambiance and elegance, with great views. The restaurant on premise is a must do, we had dinner and breakfast, both were excellent. Highly recommend staying here if you are in St. Emillion.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay in the charming, well-equipped and located small hotel in a beautiful village. The service is outstanding and the place well-located; the restaurant (dinner Monday-Friday) is wonderful with one of the great wine lists in the world. Highly recommended!

The place was absolutely perfect. Beautiful location, the rooms immaculate and wonderful, the views breathtaking, the manager of the hotel Cecilia was amazing. Never met a person more dedicated to customer service and making our stay as perfect as it could be. Breakfast was delightful, location was just seconds from everything.

Our group of four couples had an outstanding week at the Maison de la Cadene. The four bedrooms and communal facilities were great, location is perfect and the staff were excellent. Everyone agreed that for a group of our size we could not have chosen a better place to stay. Highly recommended as a base for visiting Saint Emilion and surrounding attractions.

This is the most perfect hotel (or restaurant with rooms) in the centre of the village of St Emilion. It is in a small square and has the fabulous restaurant of the same name where you can eat in the loggia in the warmer months enjoying a multi course experience. Make sure you book when you boo the hotel room! The room we stayed in is 1782 which is on the ground floor so highly recommend as there is no lift! The room is large and airy with a traditional yet modern feel, wafting linen curtains over high shuttered windows, a fire place with ornate gilt mirror and a freestanding wardrobe but mixed with hanging pendants by the bed and over the sitting area with large comfy linen sofa. The bathroom is magnificent with a huge claw foot bath that you can soak in while hearing the chatter from the street below. A separate enormous shower room and toilet compete the space. Breakfast is served in two rooms and has the most delicious pastries and croissant as well as a small selection of cold meats and cheese and three spreads….hazelnut, chocolate and the salted caramel which you could eat with a spoon by the bucket load! There is no better place to stay in St Emilion, they have private parking for 15 euro just down the street. You can park nearby to unload luggage before moving the car. Perfection!
