As crianças adoram a piscina.

We have just returned from a wonderful week’s holiday…. There were 19 of us in total including 4 children aged 18 months up to 9 years and we were extremely well looked after. The staff are all amazing and very friendly. The food is very good quality. The rooms are wonderful too and very clean. We had a lovely room with a jacuzzi on the balcony. It’s a wonderful hotel for large families. There are a good bars and restaurants nearby and the beach is only a short walk away. The hotel facilities are exceptional and everything is within easy reach. Thank you to all the staff great job xx

We visited Protur Vista Badia in July 2024 as a family of 6.we didn't receive a warm welcome . Front of house staff in my opinion let the hotel down. They seemed a bit disinterested and mostly talked amongst their selves and were a bit unhelpful. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean if a little dated and the cleaners were in most days and did an outstanding job. They were really respectful and hardworking. We holiday in Majorca a lot and I would probably have said this was more of a 3 star hotel. Some aspects were great and some just didn't quite hit the mark for us. We had a first floor room which was big enough had a kitchenette and microwave ( no sink except in the bathroom) enough storage space and a great shower. Our balcony was smaller than I expected and the beds were very hard. I asked for a mattress topper though which did improve things a little. Black out blinds were great and we heard no noise from neighbours. The food was plentiful and well presented ( head chef seemed lovely) and we all enjoyed the meals ( even our fussy eater). Nice little touches like one of the chefs making 'micky mouse' pancakes and a pepper octopus was really appreciate by the children. The meal times are a bit manic though as so very busy and noisy . I don't know how the management could address that but I have seen other chains do a drinks order and that seemed to make the queues a bit less? We ate at the Sicilian restaurant which was a nice break from the queues but the food seemed a bit average their. I liked the fact they have hand washing sinks.ouyside the restaurant and hand gel on entering. We never had an issue finding sun beds and the blue bubble was fun for the children. The indoor pool is open in July ( ask for key at desk)although a little cold we used it a few times to allow for some quiet swimming. The entertainment team are lovely and hard working and the most personable of all the staff( they should work on the front desk!) , Dani , Daria, Maria and John were all amazing with the kids and worked hard morning until night and did so well understanding and listening to all the different languages the children spoke . We walked over to the protur safari across the car park and tbh I'm glad we didn't stay there as it seemed too busy and impersonal for our liking. The entertainment shows were varied and good enough to keep us all entertained. The drinks were ok, bar staff worked well as a team but would have enjoyed more choice of cocktails and would've been nice if the indoor bar was unlocked during the summer too as would've been a different place to sit. The hotel is about 1.5hr bus ride from Palma airport and the area surrounding the hotel has the usual shops cafes and pubs. The beach is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Obviously it's handy that the hotel is part of the 'protur' chain as it essentially means you can use their commodities too but i do think I overpaid somewhat for what we got. With some tweaks the hotel cou

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Vista Badia (myself, husband and 14 month old son) We loved every second! It is definitely a family hotel aimed at those with younger children. HOTEL- Fantastic clean hotel with friendly staff. Never felt a burden to ask for things and even during dinner with our messy toddler they cleaned with a smile. The manager was visible daily which is assuring to see. Reception is bright and clean. We never had any issues. Location is great- right by the town and you can use the bottom entrance (by the stage) which puts you right into the town and literally 5 mins walk to the beach. Theres an English style pub right outside the bottom entrance which was always bustling and showed all the football matches etc. There are supermarkets all the way around so easy to get essentials. The supermarket closest to the front entrance of the hotel is open until 10:30pm & was ideal for us to get toddlers milk and water etc. Transfer to the hotel was 1hr 30 mins by coach and wasn’t overly unpleasant. The hotel feels smaller than some we have been to but never felt crowded when outside or by the pool. ROOM- We had a twin room with a cot and balcony, at the back of the hotel on the third floor. View was of the Safari opposite, but honestly was probably quieter for us when little one was in bed, especially earlier on. Room was clean and aircon was good. Cot provided was ok although not as sturdy as ones we would get in the UK (my toddler could easily push the side down) Kitchenette is great - has a fridge (small freezer bit) plus microwave. Only sink was in bathroom though. Rooms cleaned daily except for a Saturday and Tuesday. Only extras were for beach towels and the safe. The safe was around 5 euro plus 2 euros for every day used & the beach towels were 10 euro refundable deposit and were changed daily at reception. POOLS- Toddler pool was great and shallow enough for my crawling little one to sit/ crawl & paddle safely. The entertainment team come out daily around 3pm and do activities with them which was a nice touch- the smaller children seemed to love it! Big pool was also great- the water bubble appeared a massive hit with the older kids (and adults!) and there were lifeguards on duty at all times. Pool was a nice temp in June (had read some reviews that it was too cold in May) Again activities like water volley ball were daily if that takes your fancy. You are allowed floats which is great for babies/ toddlers. Never felt too overcrowded when we went. There were always sunbeds available which is a massive plus. There isn’t really a feeling here that you had to ‘reserve’ beds so it’s refreshing that this is not encouraged. Even going to the pool after midday, there would still be lots left to choose from, it really was a pleasant experience compared to the usual morning rush at other hotels we have stayed at. FOOD- We stayed all inclusive and felt the food overall was great, really fresh and good quality. Re- st

we are currently staying in this hotel. If you’re looking to book, honestly don’t bother. I cannot understand the great reviews on here, most of them saying how clean it was…great food etc. Upon arrival you are hit with the country tax and the pool towel deposit €100 gone before you get a welcome and the welcome wasn’t even a warm one !! . Our room was clean, no doubt, but the sofa beds are like rocks so not really suitable for sleeping, and my kids are not fussy sleepers. In general the rooms are serviced 5 of the 7 days to an ok standard. Sheets didn’t smell the best but weren’t dirty as such. The pool area is ok. Sun beds were filthy dirty every morning (pics attached) and in general the area was just a bit grubby. There are no small tables so people were putting chairs between beds to use as a small table. There is no pool service and nobody keeping the area clean and tidy. You are welcome to bring your drink from the bar to your seat in a disposable cup. There is a bubble pool which the kids absolutely love, this keeps them entertained all day pretty much. The food is average at best. It’s absolutely chaotic in the main restaurant with queues for everything and you loose the will to live by the time you’ve queued for your dinner and drinks. All the additional restaurants were always booked up before the time to book them (from 2pm) because available. They weren’t actually full but they hadn’t enough staff to serve the customers so we’re working on about 50% capacity in June ! So you’re totally restricted to the buffet. Breakfast - nice omelette section and decent selection of fruit etc, great coffee. Lunch - you can have buffet lunch or the pool bar, both are below average. You could manage to put a salad together in the buffet but the pool bar was a paper plate help yourself set up of about 5-6 items. So poor we didn’t even chance it. We ate out for lunch. Dinner is ok, you could pull a dinner together, but is that really good enough on holidays after paying all inclusive?? We ate out most evenings too just to avoid the absolute mayhem of the dining room, the sheer volume of noise and the queues, not even worth putting make up on and getting dressed for !! The evening entertainment is not bad, disco a little late for smaller kids but they loved it. There is a notice board near reception with the daily activities on it but a few times we couldn’t even find where the activities were on. We are not a fussy family and we were delighted with booking here after reading the fantastic reviews about it being spotless ( there were so many reviews that said the same and about the food being pretty good too ) All in all, we wouldn’t recommend on any level.

We recently returned from our stay at Vista Badia, and before we’d touched down in Manchester, my partner and 4 year old daughter were already discussing returning next year. The food and drink were as you would expect from an all inclusive. All readily available during the times advertised. The dining area was always quickly cleaned too, which ensured plenty of seating was available. The poolside bar/food area was always well staffed, and one fella in particular (didn’t get his name unfortunately) was always happy to see us and our daughter. He was patient with her too, when we were encouraging her to use the basic Spanish I had been teaching her that week. The pools were good sizes with plenty of sun beds available. The baby pool (mushroom pool) had plenty of space too. This helped us as one of our children is only 4 months old, so being able to get him in the water was nice. There was a good variety of evening entertainment for the adults ranging from singers to acrobats. Our highlight though was the kids entertainment team. They were fantastic. Danny and Belen absolutely made the holiday for our little girl who was very shy at the start. They deserve a pay rise! This is definitely a hotel for a family holiday rather than a couple looking for some quiet pool time, so it worked perfectly for us. Everything about our stay was great! Thank you all so much, and we will be back!
