We were greeted by a very nice young lady at check-in. She provided us with our keys and information about breakfast. The pool was closed but no biggie. Workout room was open. Breakfast is included which was good. There was a nice variety. We booked the two king bed suite. Came with two king sized beds and a sofa sleeper. Like a previous reviewer wrote, no linen is provided for sofa sleeper. We requested some and was given king sized linen, no pillows. The beds were very comfortable. The room is spacious. If you only want the pros stop reading now. Cons- my card was charged prior to my arrival around 12 pm; we arrived at 5 pm. The television by the couch didn’t work. The shade control wasn’t working. There was no house keeping. We dumped our trash and requested towels. One of the lights in the bathroom was out, the sink was stopped up and the room is not up to my cleaning standards (hair in the bathroom, fooor looks like it hasn’t been mopped, food in the fridge from previous guest, carpet needs to be cleaned, and questionable stains). We also saw a roach crawling on the wall behind the television. ** I clean all my hotel rooms and check them for bugs prior to sleeping in the bed. If I would have seen any evidence of bugs, we would have checked out immediately and I would have requested a full refund. There’s also a weird smell in the elevators and hallway. I expected so much more from Holiday Inn Express brand. If you decide to stay here I suggest double checking your bags before you leave to make sure you’re not taking home any unwanted critters. I will not be staying here again. I did request to speak to a manager, haven’t spoken to anyone to date. The young lady at the front desk was apologetic, reassured me they don’t have issues like that here, and offered points. Considering I’m not sure I’ll choose Holiday Inn Express again points would be useless for me.
