Very nice cottage, and big. Even though I travelled solo, I could see the space is comfortable for 2.4 persons. Service of staff is good, they don't volunteer information but if you asked they respond in very friendly way. Breakfast was average, both in terms of spread and quality. As the village was so quiet during the time I stayed (beginning of Autumn), I didn't try their restaurants for other meals, choosing instead to go to city center. Facilities-wise this is a resort, and there was no help to get your luggage to your room which is a few minutes walk. you can pay for it. Also, no transport to city provided by hotel. You need to take public transport.

The hotel is an awkward distance from the train station. You can take a bus or take a taxi. The taxi fare is about 14 euros and it takes about 10 minutes to arrive. There is a bus to Santa Claus Village opposite the hotel, but you have to watch the time. The hotel room is quite large and there is a free sauna. There is a commercial street behind the hotel, and there are also travel agencies that provide day trips. The overall convenience is good. House prices in Rovaniemi are generally quite expensive.

The hotel is located on the mountain east of the city. The environment is very quiet. It overlooks the Kemi River. The hotel is well decorated and feels very petty. The hotel has a rooftop, which is suitable for driving the aurora. There is a ski resort next to it. Convenient. If you rent ski equipment, you still need to go down to the mountain. The hotel’s breakfast is exquisite. I also had reindeer liver sauce. The hotel’s restaurant requires advance reservations and the dishes are very good. The disadvantage of the hotel is that the location is relatively remote, it is not convenient if it is not for self-driving. Extra bed and breakfast for children will be charged 35 Euros. The hotel does not provide slippers and toothbrushes.

The Arctic City Hotel was located in a prime spot, perfect to explore the city of Rovaniemi as well as reach the tour operators (our tour operator was Nordic Unique Travels, and they were right across the street). The room was fine, nothing special but had everything you needed, and the bed was quite comfortable. In a lot of other reviews you’ll read negative things about the shower, which we can indeed confirm: super small and water floods half of the bathroom, but then again: when you’re in Lapland, you won’t stay in your room that much anyways! The people who worked at Arctic City Hotel were all very nice, special shoutout to Diana from the front desk! We also had a great vegan dinner at Monterosa, a restaurant part of the hotel. Vegan breakfast was limited. We would highly recommend the hotel if you’re out and about during your stay, and just need a comfortable place to sleep!

The hotel is mainly in a good location. The distance to the airport and Santa Claus Village is about 24 to 30 Euros, and it can be reached very quickly. Close to the city center, just a few hundred meters walk. There is also a very fast taxi call at the front desk. Almost as soon as the phone is called at the front desk, the taxi usually arrives in about two minutes. If it ’s an early flight departing to another city, you do n’t have to leave too early. The airport opens at four in the morning, and there are few people. Taxiing is especially fast. Do n’t leave as early as domestic, or you can only stand The outside of the airport was frozen waiting to open the door. Anyway, I'm satisfied with this hotel

Busy hotel but well managed. Staff helpful and friendly, rooms clean and cleaned everyday. Food was very good. Location was very good also with bars and restaurants very close, supermarket was 5 min walk away as was a shopping mall and macdonalds

The location of the hotel is relatively remote, and taxis are required for travel. There are no other restaurants in the eight-kilometre radius, and they can only be settled in the hotel. The hotel room is quite large, but slippers and body lotion are not provided, which is very inconvenient. The toilet paper provided by the hotel is also the worst I have ever seen in a Finnish hotel. No paper towels are provided. The hygiene of the room is not very good, and can only reach the standard of the inn. The buffet breakfast provided is very simple and the quality is average. The only advantage is that the restaurant is a good place to watch the sunrise.

🚗 Traffic: The only drawback is that it's really far away and you can take a taxi anywhere. There is a hotel special bus in the morning but it's missed. Everything else is fine.

Excellent structure! For families the ideal solution. Large apartment with double bedrooms and double service, kitchen, indoor sauna to the apartment. Perfect cleaning, and the presence of many comforts. Rich breakfast. Many sports and recreational activities that can be exploited during the stay, including a huge area of children, swimming pool and spa, bowling, slopes, and much more. The structure is not in the centre, it is recommended to assess the organisation of logistics movements well.
