We booked queen bed, but was given 2 twin beds which is placed in one corner and another corner, reason from front desk is queen bed room is all taken-up..In that case what’s the purpose of guest room reservation with specific requirement. Glad that front desk is willing to change back the room we booked. No toiletries provided, overall room is clean and comfortable and location is great just opposite the HBF.

We booked this at short notice. We got an apt rather than a room for just the two of us which was more than adequate. Downstairs there were two single beds joined and two pull out couches upstairs. We were so impressed with the town and the accommodation that we stayed a second night. The owners also run the cafe just inside the gates so breakfast was serviced there. It consisted of pastries , breads, cold meats, cheeses yogurt, fruit salad, boiled egg and a choice of drinks. It was a lot of food! There was a private terrace outside the apt which you could sit and have a drink.

Very nice boutique hotel central in Rothenburg, very close to the entry to the city wall as well as that famous crossroad where everyone takes pictures. Big plus is there is a whole garden which can be used by the guests. We didn’t book breakfast this time as Rothenburg has plenty options.

There were some minor issues, such as the door being hard to close, but the room seemed to have been renovated and was very clean. There was no air conditioning, and the balcony was connected to the next room, so security is important. We were given a room on the second floor (actually the third floor), and the view from the balcony was great. Having bread and coffee at the table outside was great. It is simply the best location. There is no parking lot. You can get on and off the luggage, but you have to park in a nearby parking lot. The machine pays the fee.
