"Had a lovely stay at the Potters Heron. Check-in was easy. My TV didn't work so I was given another room. Huge super comfortable bed. There was also a little private outdoor space which was a lovely surprise. Very clean. The mirror in the bathroom had a clever de-mist section. The shower wasn't very powerful but that was the only negative. The service was very good."

Be aware that continental breakfast is in your room and dishes are yours to wash - never been expected to do this in any other place. Parking is available but you need to be an excellent driver to cope when the accommodation is full - difficult sloping drive with poor visibility onto busy road. Host is very pleasant, but at £100 a night we will not be returning."

"From the moment we stepped inside, the warm lighting, polished interiors, and calm atmosphere made us feel welcome. It is a beautiful hotel with courteous and helpful staff. The bar food was excellent (we didn’t have breakfast as we were meeting friends elsewhere). Our room was stunning, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel made a real difference. The thoughtful touches were evident everywhere. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it."
