I paid more than I usually pay thinking that I would have a luxury experience as advertised, but it was far from it. I was taken to a basement room with a window that was on pavement level and dirty. The room is nicely decorated but basic. I asked for a fan to use instead of aircon and they brought they only fan in the premises which was not working..instead of catering to luxury needs as they say, they should try covering the basic needs first..My room was just underneath the kitchen and I was woken up every morning at 6am from banging cutlery noises and moving around chairs. The wardrobe rail was flimsy and the hooks broke off every time I tried hanging something on them. The shower glass door had a litlle gap when closed and water ran through to the bathroom floor when using. The toilet flush stopped working properly one night with the result of the toilet flushing constantly for the whole night. The housekeeping service was okish but one day they forgot to give me clean towels and the other day they forgot to throw my rubish. The “luxury” spa facilities were out of use. Towels and sheets were not soft, they were like sandpaper..I asked to be moved tp another room or to get a discount but the only room available was another basement room(no thanks) and they said they didn’t do discounts. They did not charge me for city tax however in return, but that was only £15 worth.. I could write more but I think the above is enough to paint the picture. Positives were the excellent location, breakfast was very tasty and staff were friendly. I heard the rooms above ground level overlooking the garden/patio were quieter…

We, a family of 8, stayed at „femasuites“ back in October 2022 – finally I get to write a review. It is a very special place: A lovely flat with great interior including 4 bedrooms and 1 kitchen, so we had the whole flat of our own. Our host Marco was an extraordinary host, extremely helpful and nice! We enjoyed our stay very, very much! Femasuites are located in a charming neighborhood close to 2 metro stations. Both the Vatican City and Castel Sant‘Angelo can be reached in walking distance, too. The breakfast – excellent Italian pastry and delicious coffee – was offered at a traditional Italian bar just around the corner which we liked a lot.

Not far from the Angel Castle and the Vatican. There are also some small supermarkets and large supermarkets around, which can meet temporary needs. There are several restaurants on the way to the attractions, but the taste is difficult to eat, salty and fresh, or it is poor attitude, English is lame, and Italian is not standard. The employees are not really locals. It is recommended to eat at attractions or downtown. Check-in waited for a long time, it was impossible to wait, the speed of processing was Italian. Don't like chatting between colleagues. This is a Delta flight attendant hotel, after all, it is impossible to live around Rome Airport. The room type has a small balcony, you can experience the heat of the Italian night. Compared with the same nh hotel, the hardware is good, the bathroom is very good, there is a foot basin, there are many towels, and 2 TVs and a small living room. Daylight is also sufficient, and internal light is also available. Breakfast was okay and there were many varieties. Cheese had local characteristics, but no ham. The drink is too sweet. It is quite satisfactory. The coffee machine actually has no characteristics, a bit regrettable, how should there be an espresso, no ... Come to the airport, the rental price is too expensive, the bus is cheap, but the service is very poor, there is no service in Italy. Very similar to the front desk.

We stayed for 4 nights for our honeymoon This place deserves 5 Star.. It is very near the Ottaviano Metro, walking distance. Roberto welcomed us warmly, very friendly and has lots of suggestions for food. They are very near the Vatican as well. Room was clean and very Big. Air-conditioning was very cold . All in All , our stay here was amazing . If we comeback to Rome, this place is on top of our priority list. Grazie Les Chambres

Excellent small hotel, surprisingly good value for money. We throughly enjoyed our four nights stay at The Nautilus. Spotlessly clean room, with daily housekeeping. Comfy beds and super shower/bathroom facilities. Continental breakfast was adequate, however dining area a little cramped. Hotel staff very friendly & attentive, with good knowledge of local restaurants etc. Great location close to St.Peter’s and Castle Sant Angelo/shops and restaurants. Would definitely return on next visit to Rome.

The breakfast is ok, the roof design and view are quite special. The room as a whole is the style of an old-fashioned European hotel, but at least it is clean and tidy, and has everything that should be, but the Chinese may not be very used to it. However, this front desk is really inexplicable. I have never stayed in a hotel where the front desk is so annoying. When we arrived the first night, we found that the kettle was very dirty, full of scale, and even floated into the water. Speaking to the front desk, Europeans don’t understand that they don’t use a kettle. The front desk looked like they didn’t believe us, and finally said ”So bring the heater to me to check”. There is no ”please”, not even at all Could you, not to mention that in theory, I have come down to you and said you would not even take an elevator to take a look? I have to send it down to you. I don’t want to say how lazy it is, but it’s really What attitude should a service practitioner have??

pulizia impeccabile, camera carina e confortevole , bollitore in stanza, bottiglietta d’acqua nel frigo, frigo in camera, doccia grande e comoda, asciugacapelli grande. materasso decisamente comodo . kit saponi presente. i proprietari sono persone molto gentili e disponibili. mi hanno fatto trovare la stanza calda ed hanno rassettato la stanza nonostante il giorno dopo partissi . persone veramente serie. la stanza ed il personale fanno veramente sentire accolti e coccolati. Finestra un po’ vetustà se cambiata renderebbe migliore l insonorizzazione ma…. Resta consigliatissimo!!!! grazie!

This review reflects the opinion/s of my wife and I and is based on our experience only. The room we were given was comfortable, the bed was comfortable, and the linen clean. It was not the most attractive of views from the window which looked out to the rear of the hotel, though this hardly mattered as the view from the hotel is not the reason we were there. Regarding the location, it is a great starting point, and literally just a few minutes stroll to the metro station, a 10 minute walk to the Vatican at a steady pace, and there is a great restaurant just around the corner, turning right out of the hotel, and then first right again. (Separate review coming for that restaurant). Of course, everything else... the famous sites of Rome, is within easy access if jumping on the tram, or if wanting to experience the hidden little side streets dotted with trattorias, ristorantes, or osterias. The down side to this hotel is what most reviews here knock it for, and that is the breakfast. It really isn't the best, and not even particularly good. If nothing else, it just about fills the gap until you reach somewhere that you can fulfil your early morning hunger and grab a decent coffee. The staff, however, are really helpful and polite, and most likely, a little embarrassed about having to set out such breakfasts. There is a fridge with yoghurts in, too, just in case. Overall, the hotel is clean, has a modern interior, a somewhat attractive exterior, but each will have their own opinion about that, and we would stay there again.

On the overall a nice hotel, but kind of far from the center, 10 mins away from the Torre Angela metro station. Everything needed was in the room (fridge, conditioner, hair dryer), clean, everything in good condition. Reception desk staff speaking adequate English. A nice little pool was also available for us, my son enjoyed it. Didn't buy breakfast, so I cannot say anything about it. Were mostly in the city, came to hotel only for sleeping. Conditioner working, a balcony to the back yard, not a very nice view though, but it wasn't a problem.

We had booked in for 4 nights and stayed only one. Town House 62 advertises itself as having luxury rooms. DO NOT believe the pictures or the descriptions. This accomodation is set in an old office that has been converted and actually reminded me of modern student accommodation. It is 5 rooms off one small corridor with a private room that is a kitchen where breakfast is put together. On checking in we couldn't help notice that the room was very dark and remained so even after opening the shutters. There was also a very stuffy smell. On opening the window we observed that the advertised courtyard view actually looked onto the rear of a cafe and the bins, etc. Luxury is not what I would describe this as. Basic would be a better description. There was a hole in the bathroom door, the leather bench was torn and the finish of the decoration was poor with paint on the tiles, etc. There was also quite a lot of dust on top of the shower, hairdryer, TV, etc. which you do not expect in a room described as luxury. The room was also quite compact with little room either side of the bed. There were 2 coffee pods for the coffee machine and the ”minibar” had a bottle of water, 1 beer, 1 coke, 1 fruit juice. On our first (and last) night we were disturbed by noise from the staff of the cafe below emptying the bins and chatting (even with the window closed). We were then woken by other guests returning to their rooms as the the wooden floors in the corridor were obviously noisy and the rooms are far from soundproofed. We were later woken by a baby crying in one of the other rooms, which was obviously not the childs fault but highlighted how thin the walls between rooms were. Finally we were yet again disturbed by the staff arriving (06:45 approx) and proceeding to clatter dishes around in the adjacent kitchen. On deciding that we did not want to risk ruining our holiday any more we sought alternative accommodation. When we spoke to the member of staff to say we were checking out they did not even ask why and didn't seem to care. When I explained to them that we had hardly slept the response was, ”That's not our problem”. They refused to provide a refund when I asked for 50% of what we had paid and then had the cheek to ask us to pay the city tax, even though they had been paid for 4 nights and we were staying only 1. Positives? The location is good for the Vatican and the shower was powerful, although having had a shower in the evening we were faced with damp towels in the morning as the heated towel rail wasn't heated. We thankfully found a simple, clean, quiet apartment which meant we had a good break but I could not recommend this accommodation in any way.

small but sufficient room for two with two trolley,flash that from a courtyard,so no view of Rome to understand,still quiet room if it wasn't for a noise that was raised by some engine (I don't know if it was just outside our door,which is a closed closet,maybe there's something inside that needs for all rooms)or out on the courtyard,because there are shops and bars below the street.Comfortable bed,there are two kinds of coats, heat pump air conditioner,small fridge never used(we were in December\January)bathroom with a single neo no bidet,my room was 106,good cleaning,friendly owner.the top of this place is the location and area, You have the Vatican at 10 minutes walk,and the metro at 5 minutes,for the rest there is nothing missing about the rooms.

Brilliant hotel in a perfect spot for everything. Loads and I mean loads of restaurants, cafés, bars and gelatos beside it we were spoilt for choice. The hotel was clean, welcoming and very comfortable. Staff were extreamly helpful and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was adequate due to covid restrictions and was more than ample to start our day. Can't wait to return next year.

Especially clean! The design of the room is particularly user-friendly, and it feels very convenient to use. Just like at home, the shower in the toilet is not running at all. There are only a few rooms in the hotel, and the door is not obvious. Breakfast was good too. The location is very good, a few hundred meters from St. Peter's Basilica, a few hundred meters from Saint Angel Castle, and only a few hundred meters from the subway station.

Holiday from 30 December 2019 to 2 January 2020. Hotels very recommended. Extraordinary location to visit TO THE COURT and without ever having to use public means. It is 500 metres from Castel Sant'Angelo and then from Piazza San Pietro. We are close to the shopping centre, where the Imperial Foros and the Colossus are starting. For those who want to enjoy public funds, from the central station with 70s you go down with the stop in front of the hotel. the kindness and availability in the performance of their work. Super-abundant breakfast and what to say , really a good shot of luck to have found this accommodation by chance. Try to believe. Good Year for everyone.

Very good, we arrived early, it was too powerful to check in in advance. Early is simple but there is coffee drink fruit, a croissant per person, the room is cleaned every day, and the small refrigerator is replenished. The room is equipped with a coffee machine, a kettle, a hair dryer, and air conditioning. The sign at the door is not obvious, but fortunately, the two just checked out and asked to confirm. Not far from the subway, you can also walk to the Vatican Museum and the Cathedral.
