After 2 weeks on Sicily, we wanted to hang out in Rome for 2 nights to de-compress and take in a few sites (we have been in Rome before). I am a Marriott guy and truth be told, none of their facilities floated our boat and they were outrageously expensive. My searches for an alternative led me to this hotel - a former Monastery situated near the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. As my title says, this facility was great. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable (yes, small too, but not cramped). The management (Marco) and the woman on the front desk (Naomi) were incredibly friendly and helpful. The price was right and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. An added bonus was the proximity of the hotel to Ristorante Ad Hoc - one of the best rated restaurants in Rome and where we had our last meal in Italy before flying out. It was an excellent meal at a very reasonable price. Thanks again Marco and Naomi!
