Domus Alberico

Booked Domus Alberico for a weekend away and was pleasantly surprised. The previous reviews all indicated good value and comfortable accommodation and this is accurate. As other reviewers state Lorenzo has been amazingly helpful and booked everything we needed from taxis to restaurant recommendations which have been great. The room was comfortable and spacious. The bed is a bit too firm for our liking so did not sleep as well as usual. The online key takes a lot of getting used to and you are provided with lots of instructions. But wifi reception is not great inside. Front door is fine but we ended up having one of us wait near front door and other going ahead to wait at the door to the hotel and shouting press now!! It worked but with some hassle! Breakfast available from 8am to 10am is very average with lots of packets of crackers and cereals and basic cold meat and cheese and sliced bread for toast but lovely coffee. Helpful staff around to restock items. We were in a rush one morning and missed breakfast but they very kindly put out a tray for us so we didn’t miss out. Rooms are nice and modern but some things were a bit well used such as our handle to front door and light switches which were a bit temperamental. Feels like it needs some maintenance to overhaul. On the whole though quite good value for money. Very well located for Vatican city and not far from Pantheon and Spanish Steps. Would recommend and not bad value for capital city accommodation.

Our family of 8 visited and the apartment was perfect for us. Lorenzo is a fantastic host and answered all of my questions quickly, before and during my stay. Beds are comfortable, showers food and breakfasts great. Enjoyed the outdoor space too. Close to Vatican and can walk to piazza Navona. Lots of restaurants nearby.

From arrival to departure we were looked after really well. Our bedroom was a good size, and the bed very comfortable. We were not disappointed with breakfast each morning - it was exactly as we had expected. The location of Domus Alberico is a 'winner'. We walked everywhere for 4 days, and none of our destinations was more than 40 minutes away. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Beautifully finished little hotel in an excellent location, only 8 min walk to the Vatican. The room was a great size and lovely and cool in a heatwave! Staff were very attentive and the remote entry features worked a treat, even for our late night arrival. Would definitely recommend this place.

We recently stayed 3 nights. The property arranged several drivers for us throughout our stay and each one was dependable. The room met our expectations--clean and close to walking to several places. The customer service was excellent including the breakfast. Highly recommend.

Hidden fees on the last e-mail for security check. The e-mail will be sent after the possibility of cancelling option via reservation. They want you to pay via a payement method that made me uncomfortable. They also ask alot of personal information.

My husband and I booked our stay at Domus Alberico for our last night in Italy. Unfortunately, we had a significant death in our family and had to return early to the United States. I contacted Domus to request a cancellation and they refused due to the effect of COVID-19 on their sales. They charged us the full cost of the stay despite my request to cancel 5 days in advance. I understand COVID-19 has been difficult on finances for hotels but it is also difficult on individual people, we should all be in it to help each other. I have zero respect for this hotel and feel like they took my money with no concerns. I would never recommend.

Logement idéalement situé, à 10mn à pieds du Vatican et à 20mn de la place Navona et 10 mn du métro Literie excellente et chambre propre avec une jolie décoration moderne Petit déjeuner varié et copieux Erika a été aux petits soins, un grand merci à elle Excellent choix d’hébergement pour passer quelques jours à Rome

Location perfetta per visitare Roma a piedi, parcheggi comodi in zona per l’auto. Stanze spaziose, calde, moderne e luminose. Bagno moderno e dotato dì ogni comodità. Personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile, colazione in struttura possibile ricca e varia. Ottimo bed and breakfast senza alcun difetto o problema da segnalare. Consigliatissimo
