Pas de lobby ou de coin sympa lorsqu’il fait très chaud. La terrasse a une superbe vue mais trop exposée lors de fortes chaleurs. 2 distributeurs de boissons dans un couloir sombre en ´sous-sol’ Les chambres sont très propres et le personnel charmant.

Nice hotel for the short staying to explore Rome

The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The bed is comfortable and clean. Close to the station. Nice view as well!

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé. Le lieu est magnifique. Le personel (accueil, femme de ménage etc) est très gentil. Bon petit déjeuner. PS : Le matelas était toutefois un peu dur pour moi. Je sentais les lattes.

It was dark when we arrived so we'd planned on just dumping our bags and going out to find something to eat. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. We had a trek to our room as it was at the back of the hotel, no problem though. We'd booked a quad room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers; the room was large, basic but clean. The bathroom was tired but functional. The air con didn't work and the room quite stuffy but we just opened the windows (we sleep with the windows open at home all year round so it wasn't an issue) and I'd remembered the ear plugs. The only gripe we had was the beds, I could feel every spring in the mattress and when you've literally been out on your feet all day, a comfy bed is all I'm bothered about. Terrace had fantastic views; we had breakfast up there on our first morning but it wasn't for us so we had breakfast out the rest of the days. We walked around the area looking for somewhere to get a bite to eat, it was dark and we didn't feel unsafe at any point. There are a couple of Metro stations within around 10 minute walk away and several restaurants, coffee shops & convenience stores a stones throw away from the hotel. Beautiful church next door. I wish we'd have spent a little bit more time in the area as I think there was probably much more to see. All in all we had a brilliant few days away, the hotel was basic but absolutely fine, I've knocked a star off for the beds; get some new mattresses and we'll definately be back!

This hotel was selected for us as part of a deal, and truth be told had I been picking my own hotel, I probably would have bypassed it. However, that would have been our loss, this hotel was located in a quiet area surrounded by excellent local restaurants, yet 10 mins from the metro or a 20 minute brisk walk to the colloseum. The staff are very very friendly and super helpful. The rooms are basic but clean, quiet and warm. The breakfast on the rooftop, with stunning views was good quality and set us up for a day of serious walking.

You know you are off to a bad start when you walk in to another guest shouting "my room is disgusting and i want moving now!" We didn't expect much as we booked the hotel as a base, was a good thing because we didn't get much . 6 nights in Rome and we were out most of every day. We booked a Quad room, an breakfast was included. The breakfast....its like being back at school having to stand in line for luke warm coffee an stale croissants, they also have a flavourless cake and packs of biscuits...and a bloody tip jar!!! The smell in the court yard 2 or 3 morning was enough to turn your stomach, smelt of sewage and it was about 22° outside. Broken bed, my camp bed looked abit dodgy on the 1st night an by the third one of the legs was broken and the whole bed rocked at the slightest touch, on our way out we explained this to the receptionist an we were told it would be taken care of, only to come back 12 hours later and it was still broken. When speaking to the receptionist I was told they had decided it was fine. It wasn't and it was only sorted when I showed them pictures and demanded it be sorted as I had nothing to sleep on that anything got done No tea/ coffee facilities in the room but then again you don't even get a bed in 1 piece, they are a camp bed inside a steel bed frame and they both move and creek all night. Staff were rude and the only good thing they did was ring us a taxi back to the airport. Rooms aren't well equipped, 4 people, 4 beds but only 3 plugs, an 3 blankets, no tea n coffee, towels and bedding weren't changed at all in a whole week. We asked for an extra blanket as it drops cold on a night and it took 3 days for us to get 1. Location...this hotel is NOT in walking distance from tourist attractions, land marks or the centre......we had to rely heavily on the metro and taxis every day, which is not what it said on the Jet 2 advert! Stood at the bus stop on our first day we got talking to 2 women also staying at this "hotel", I think hostel fits better. They said their room was dirty and the beds hadn't been changed from previous guests. I would not recommend staying here as its not as described at all, it's a shame, Rome was amazing, this hostel was a total let down though.

Myself and my husband stayed here for 6 days just got home yesterday. A little nervous after reading so many mixed reviews so went with an open mind. Amazing building . Our room as many others state was very basic however it was very cosy with very comfy beds . A huge wardrobe with lots of storage, a safe a fridge. Overlooking the courtyard garden with beautiful views. Yes the walls are marked and could do with an update however the room was clean and changed daily with beds made and clean towels. Someone mentioned the walls being thin and being able to hear the people in the next room however we heard nothing and no-one and so other than the endless sirens outside (no fault of the hotel of course) it was really peaceful. ☺️ The lift was broken for the first 2 days of our stay which we were advised of so it didn’t come as a surprise and was fixed by day 3 . The roof terrace is a major plus and we saw some amazing sunsets from both our room and the roof terrace and the weather during our stay was gorgeous . Breakfast was ok. I quite like the bread, ham and cheese but my husband wasn’t fussed so he had the other options of the croissants and yoghurts etc. The staff were all lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly and chatty.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Let us keep bags in the office after check out & let us go and change as we were soaked! Hotel is a little out the centre but it suited us..it meant when we went out we stayed out sightseeing. The breakfast as expected..fresh pastries, jam tarte, cake, fresh fruit, yoghurt, bread, ham, cheese and cereal. Fresh juice, good coffee. Couldn’t complain at all. The room was made up each day and towels replaced (the hand towels are a bit like a cotton tea towel) For those complaining about only being one pillow…look in the wardrobe!! No complaints about then bed, we slept very well. Fortunately the lift was working, I don’t think I would have managed the stairs if not. There is a lovely 24hr cafe opposite. We bought coffees late at night and took them to the hotel roof top where the sights were amazing. If you go into the attached church via the hotel entrance, proceed with caution..we walked in when the guests were all arriving for a funeral. We thought they were tourists and stood there taking photos of the church. It was only when we went outside we saw the he****!! Hotel is about 10 mins from metro stop. We did use taxis a couple of times…back from Spanish steps about midnight it was €13, to the colosseum in the morning was €12 and airport is €50. The hotel will call you a cab and it’s there straightaway. We couldn’t fault our stay & both said we would return again (room 209) Thank you for a pleasurable stay
