Localização perfeita, funcionários super gentis ( especialmente a Giulia, da recepção), breakfast bom e o hotel charmoso e bem cuidado.

The main entrance doesn’t look like a 3 stars hotel. The hotel doesn’t even offer free water as courtesy. There’s nothing special about this hotel.

Great hotel with friendly staff! My train arrived very late in the evening, and The Shire made sure to have a staff member there to check me in. The staff also helped me arrange transport to the airport when I had to check out very early in the morning.

Room was beautiful, breakfast was convenient and easy. Property was clean and quaint. Would have liked access to an iron but other than that small thing it was a lovely place to stay. We would stay here again! Thank you!

The service was ok. The state of the the room was not great, it had a very bad smell and needed a good clean. The walls were all marked, the carpet was filthy as was the chair. The bathroom had a very bad smell, the shower was mouldy, the towels were like rags and needed to be thrown out and just generally needed a good clean. Overall it was just disappointing and I would not recommend to stay here.

Staff was super friendly and the hotel was clean. Spanish steps are very near and extra points for the harry's bar down stairs!

Absolute worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. When I arrived late at night, there was a leak in the AC and it was dripping on the floor. Since it was late, nobody could come to fix it until the next day. Between the smell and the noise, I could not sleep. I had to move down the street and pay for another hotel, which I informed the Shire about. I stayed at the Shire the second night. I was nothing but nice and understanding, and I did not make a fuss. However, I have reached out 3 times regarding a refund for the first night, or any sort of compensation, and I have not heard back. I have tried through *******, and they informed me the Shire refuses to give me a refund. Extremely frustrating and rude staff. I would like a response at the absolute minimum. No apology or anything. Avoid at all costs.

Overall, I’m satisfied with everything.
Just wish that the sink could drain down the water faster and the bathroom offered more space to put your belongings.
The hotel has the access to the elevator so it’s convenient to take your heavy luggages to the hotel. AC works great both in the lobby and in the room for the hot summer in Rome.
