Quality Inn

My husband and I were in town for a loved one's funeral. I had stayed at this hotel previously when visiting and hadn't had any issues. This visit, however, we were sadly disappointed. The landscaping was neglected. The pool was not open, nor did it look to have been open for a while. The room itself was dingy and in need of a deep clean. The shower was disgusting, and the wall in the bathroom was in need of repair. The ice machine for our floor was inoperable, and there was a nearly empty gallon jug of some sort of beverage left on top along with other containers. The refrigerator in our room was a nice size, but the freezer needed to be defrosted badly. Our room was located at the end of the hall near the pool, and the door to the exterior was never locked, though there was a key swipe pad. The continental breakfast options were few, and what was available was not good.

We were in the area for a family reunion. Rather than coming home the same day, we choice to stay for the night. We had 2 rooms, both were comfortable and met the need for our one night stay. However, the bathroom in the one room left a desire for an updated shower and for towels that would match, but also that they were not worn through in the centers of them. The only complaint for the 2nd room was the towels were also worn through. Other than these two things, everything else was fine. The hotel clerk was very attentive and was quick to get us checked in. We choice to sleep in late instead of taking advantage of their breakfast, but the space looked adequate in size and very clean. We would certainly consider this establishment next time around, we’ll just make sure to book in advance and request a ground floor as they don’t have an elevator.
