Wow,what a 2 night stay at the Fernleigh. To celebrate wife's 63rd birthday. Great location near Whitby, where we revisited over 2 days. Warm welcome from Chris & Jane. Beautiful B&B & loved our room. With homemade chocolate brownies on arrival in breakfast room/lounge also in our room. Very comfortable room, lovely fresh bedding & view of the sea across lovely rooftops. Tasty ordered in advance & cooked to order breakfast on both days. Nothing to much trouble. Had very tasty lunch of local fish in Whitby restaurant for lunch, spoilt for choice of eateries even in November. Christmas market was on over 3 days, a bonus. Gorgeous evening meal at the Victoria Hotel, such a treat. Walked it all off on Sunday morning down to beach. Quite a challenge on way back up, but so worth it, stunning. Would highly recommend and we will return.

Great B&B at the top of Robin Hood's Bay. Lovely room, comfy bed, drench shower, great breakfast and friendly and relaxed hosts. Fernleigh is located just off the route of the the Cleveland Way and C2C so makes an ideal stop for walkers. My wife and I both voted this as our best stopover on our 9 day Cleveland Way walk. Thank you!!

Absolutely beautiful guesthouse. Immaculately clean and well maintained. Everything you could need in your room. Comfy beds and a lovely bathroom. We had Room 4 which also features a lovely little lounge area. Chris and Jane are superb hosts and provided a fabulous cooked breakfast and lots of local advice. We have been to RHB many many times over the years but I think this was our best stay yet. Will be back and with heartily recommend to everyone we know. Thank you 😄

An amazing place in Robin Hoods Bay. The hosts, Jane and Chris were great and couldn't do enough for us. The bed was comfy, the room lovely in soft greys and the B&B overall was stunning. The breakfast was fantastic all freshly prepared and cooked. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Chris and Jane were the perfect hosts. They were very knowledgeable about the local area and suggesting places to eat and drink. Room 1 was comfortable and clean with a sea view. Janes Home-made chocolate brownies were a lovely touch alongside the well stocked tea and coffee facilities in the room. The breakfasts were fantastic. Robin Hoods Bay is the perfect base for visiting Whitby and surrounding areas. We will definitely be back.

The Fernleigh B&B is such a gem. Chris and Jane have got it sorted. Friendly, happy hosting at its best. Such a relaxing stay Room 1 was perfectly arranged with a partial ocean view. Clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was outstanding. Everything was beautifully presented and fresh. Parking wasn't a problem, Chris actually moved his car for us to park right out front. Highly recommend Chris and Jane's Fernleigh B&B, 10 out of 10.

Great hosts, lovely clean comfortable room. Bed was super comfy. Quiet location at top of the steep hill. Better to stay at the top! Fresh local produce, great choices and well cooked breakfast. Pub around the corner serves great meals. Great location for Whitby too.

Cannot recommend the Fernleigh Guest house highly enough. This was our second and as previous we found the Fernleigh an extremely well presented and very comfortable. The owners are very nice and great source of local knowledge. Our breakfasts were of the highest quality. We will visit again.
