We stayed one night at Hotel Le St. Germain in downtown Rimouski. We wished we had stayed longer! We were warmly welcomed by the night manager upon arrival. He had us laughing and made our stay so much more memorable. His restaurant and coffee recommendations were also perfect. The room was massive with a comfortable king bed, couch, and table and chairs. The rain shower was so refreshing. Out view out the window was a combination of downtown and the St. Lawrence River. We were in walking distance to the riverfront, shops and restaurants. This was more than just another hotel. Its character and excellent staff made it a memorable part of our vacation.

Clean but aged hotel. Free parking and continental breakfast were perks. View of sea was over a commercial building and parking lot. Have stayed at nicer SG hotels. Bathroom needs upgrades and decor could we brighter. Walkway along the sea was nice option for walking.

What a gem. The rooms are magical. Very high tech but extremely comfortable and modern. No expense spared here. But reasonable priced. The all important shower had a rain head, 6 jets, and a waterfall with serious pressure and heat. What a pleasure taking a shower. The reception staff, including Steven, were a delight to deal with. The location was over looking the St Lawrence River and in the middle of the restaurant area. What more could you ask for. If your visiting the Rimouskl area this is the place for you.

This was our second stay at the Saint-Germain after one year. My husband is in a band that plays at Taverne 666, so the location of the hotel is just perfect. We were able to appreciate the before and after renovations done to the reception area. It is absolutely fantastic! So was the staff who is always very welcoming and kind. We love the size of the room with its breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River. The breakfast served at the door of our room at the requested time was once again very appreciated and delicious! I highly recommend! Thank you so much!

My wife and I were immediately impressed with the St Germain hotel in Rimouski when we entered our room..it was spacious, modern decor and all the amenities. The view was overlooking the St Lawrence..breathtaking. The location of this hotel is very convenient to a wide selection of restaurants that you can walk to. The Hotel staff spoke good english which was a bonus for us. In the Morning we received a breakfast at our door with bread, pastry, etc. This is a great hotel and we will definitely be staying at St Germain in the future. Best of all was the comfort of the King bed and pillows.

The building is not that attractive from outside but inside is nice especially front lobby. The hotel is old but has been somewhat renovated (not all the parts for example the bathroom not renovated but the kitchen was amazing). Elevator is small/old style. The beds were comfy and nice. The place was clean and quiet. Close to restaurants. Easy to get to and free parking. Breakfast was 2 small danishes, 4 pieces of white bread, 2 yogurts, 2 cheese sticks, 2 packs of pate, butter and jam. It was okay. Might stay here again as location was good. Looks like there are other hotels nearby that are a little nicer but bigger. This was only 6 floors so not too busy which was nice. Front desk in evening was very pleasant. We had a problem with the cable box and got reimbursed 10%.

We were passing through Rimouski on our way to Gaspesie and stayed 1 day at Le Saint-Germain hotel. The Hotel was clean and well situated. However we did not sleep well as 1 of the room's windows had a curtain that was not properly hung (it was hung with nails into the wall and let a lot of light in). There must have been a neon sign at night that reflected through the five holes (meant for a curtain rod) and kept us awake the entire night. It was like a light on in the room the entire night. I complained to the front desk in the morning as she said that they were aware of problem and that they should have not rented the hotel room (501) until it was fixed. I asked for a discount (as the room was not cheap) and she said the manager would call me to discuss. He called the next day and I explained the problem with the light...he said he would go and have a look at the room and would call me back. He never did call me back. This was unprofessional. When I stay at a hotel it is important to have a good nights sleep.

A rather cold reception on arrival. This is the first hotel where no effort was made to speak English. The room was awful. Overlooking exhaust fans, etc on neighboring roof. Dirty windows. One window with no frame had a drape hung over it with nails. No dining room. Breakfast in a box at the door but no coffee. Pictures on line were very misleading. Would not recommend.

Décevant à part l’accueil rénové dernièrement et le personnel. Le stationnement, la chambre, les meubles et plancher bas de gamme, la literie, serviettes grisâtres usées. l’insonorisation, passage sombre, tapis fin de vie avec odeur. Nous avions réservé trois jours et finalement sommes restés une journée.
